After Michael Kiwanuka's deserved Mercury Prize win back in September I decided to listen to every winning album from the award's inception in 1992 to the present day, and rank them for a bloody big laugh on Twitter. There's good, bad and ugly in there, but it was great fun!

1. Pulp - Different Class (1996)
What a worthy winner. It's an English cultural high-point, honestly it's that good. The singles Disco 2000 & Common People are amongst the finest pop this country's ever produced, but the whole album works as the witty, sarcastic peak of Britpop.
