Went to the 2014 WC in Brazil to cover England. Picked up a virus that completely floored me. Staggering into the press box at the Costa Rica game, I got taken to a medical room & stuck on a drip. Watched the whole 0-0 draw on a 20” TV lying on a bed in the bowels of the stadium
