@QcTibo@Teslarati Hardware 3 sadly isn't anywhere close to the amount of capability as HW4. Least you have FSD on your car though, I am on my 4th year of waiting for it to come, pretty sure it's Aus regulators doing it.
@SawyerMerritt In my case I voted No because its not in Aus yet, we still have autopilot from a few years back. Yes, No, It's not available in my Country. Those should be the options for next time π
@pathofexile Love the constant feedback you are giving plus the interview that happened today is good to see actual Devs who care about their games chatting
@Teslarati Wish they would look into using AI for traffic lights, maybe there isn't enough money but feel like it would improve city efficiency thus saving a lot more money in time spent waiting....maybe that's the point of boring company
@jcchristopher@Teslarati Where I live there are no chargers around, so when I visit beach, shops, other destinations I only have my home charger nearby else it's an hour or so divert to charge. Its not the end of the world, it's why I still drive my Model 3, but it's what I was hoping for in new Model Y
@sellthedip6@Teslarati Depends on the circumstance I'd say, for place with charges within 30miles or half an hour away not so much of an issue but when they're an hour away it becomes something I need to plan for each time.
This is without towing, in 85f each day to and from work.
@splosives@CranstonDwayne@Teslarati Oh I agree, i've done 60k miles in my Model 3 and love it, but my biggest issue(apart from being 2021 model with Intel CPU) is the range. I charge every night from 30%-80% and it's a dream but with an extra 200kms I could do more things each day without worrying about range
@CranstonDwayne@Teslarati When charging stations are convenient but if e.g i am going for a trip to the beach i get there from 80% to 50% i get home at around 20%, i then have limited options for what i can do because i need to charge. There are no super chargers around so i get stuck waiting
@Teslarati I agree the average or in Tesla's case RWD should be there most efficient which at the moment i think is in a reasonable place however I think the long range option should be a lot more in comparison such as 500+.
@Teslarati "Tesla had the opportunity to implement a larger battery for more range, but it felt as if this would take the vehicle out of affordability for most consumers."
This is why i am hesitant to buy the vehicle after waiting 3 years for it :(
@NotATeslaApp Ability for users to input events or incidents on the road similar to Waze but at a much larger scale.
I would also like FSD in Australia so my money isn't in limbo but think it's Australia's fault at this point not so much Tesla's π
