Israel has existed for millennia. Hamas are not victims. They rule Gaza with an iron fist, starving and denying their own population. They turned billions in aid (enough to house every resident with power and water) into weapons and tunnels and enriched their leadership living abroad in luxury. Shilling for them is not just embarrassing, but evil.

I gave you direct quotes from the Hamas charter on another thread. They have not removed nor disavowed any of that language. They (Hamas specifically and Palestinians widely) openly discuss their desire to eliminate Israel. It is widely stated by western supporters of Palestine that it will one day replace Israel from the river to the sea. They say even the rocks and trees will call out where the last Jews are hiding so that they may be killed. I did not realize any of this was under dispute. No one on their side even hides it. Your sources of information must be extraordinarily narrow to have missed this.

Look to the charter in place when they were voted into power. It references their holy books and is very clear about the complete eradication of Israel being a religious mandate that must be fulfilled.

From the original text of the Hamas charter, in place when they were voted into power after Israel left Gaza entirely, including moving their cemeteries (other translations exist that are nearly identical):

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it” (quoting founder Hassan al-Banna in the preamble).

“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement.” (Article 13)

Added in 2017:
“Hamas rejects any alternative to the full and complete liberation of Palestine, from the river to the sea.” (Section 20 of 2017 addendum, meaning the elimination of Israel).
