A Washington, D.C. native is making the District sweeter -- one bun at a time.
Alexandria Diggs was teaching English to students in China before the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the shutdown, she was forced to move back to Washington, D.C., where she continued teaching locally.
In the midst of moving home, she turned to baking, adding that she had help from her family to kick off her business, Lou's Buns.
