When you live next to Pakistan’s terror ecosystem and a Bangladesh theatre that keeps throwing up radical modules, you don’t get to be sentimental about “soft power” as a substitute for hard intelligence. You need early warning, deep penetration, counter-infiltration, and ruthless disruption - before the plot becomes a headline.

And this is exactly where the armchair moralists fail India. They love questioning operations after the fact. They hate the boring investments before the fact: intel budgets, source protection, language capability, field tradecraft, inter-agency fusion, and the political spine to back covert work without leaking it for TRPs.

Pop culture and superhit movies like Dhurandhar tells the story really well but makes it look stylish - one hero, one mission, one punchline. Real HUMINT though is the opposite: years of patience, ugly risks, zero credit, and often no medal because the best outcome is “nothing happened.”

This is not about chest-thumping. This is about statecraft. The world is moving into an age where wars are decided by who sees first, knows first, and shapes first. Israel gets that. India must get that - permanently. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our intelligence apparatus, NEW INDIA definitely gets it.

Because 'terrorist harbouring neighbours' don’t send calendar invites before they strike. They send handlers, money, propaganda, and sleepers. The only answer is being inside that machinery early enough to break it.

If you want deterrence, stop thinking intelligence is an accessory. It’s the foundation.

Many Indians tweeted on Rafah. Some more famous than others. The idea was to stand with the dispossesed. To enforce through a peaceful outburst of moral indignation the "right to return"; the "right to reclaim."

In Reasi, on our own soil, Islamists attacked Hindu tourists. They wanted to kill them all, and to realize their cowardly plan, they first sniped at the bus driver. Fatally wounded, he lost control of the bus.

Now, the Islamist terrorist group has announced that their guns are trained on "all sanghi yatris."

The attack in Reasi tells us there is no right to return for Hindus. No right to reclaim, no right to stake claim to justice.

A few weeks ago, 50% plus Kashmiri Muslims voted with gusto as the Indian state gave them a free and fair veto.

That democratic freedom to choose endures even after the election. Will even 50% of the Kashmiris who voted march through the streets condemning the attack in Reasi to send a message to Islamists?

Will our "rent a cause" privileged classes tweet #AllEyesOnReasi? Or do Hindu lives not matter?

Common refrain from India’s Leftist circles. So let’s answer.

To most who are enjoying a better life there, no. It wasn’t good enough before Modi, and it’s not good enough with Modi. But do note that here, the comparison being made is between a First-World society with almost a century of head-start and an emerging economy that’s still struggling to wiggle its way out of half a century of ruinous socialism.

Not a fair comparison.

I wouldn’t make that comparison even with a Rahul Gandhi at the helm. Because no matter how aggressively you transform India, no miracle on Earth can place it on par with Europe of America in a space of one decade or even three. Their per capita GDP is almost thirty times ours.

That’s THIRTY, not thirteen.

Which means that much more disposable wealth to spend on cleaner air, harsher regulations, better roads, more efficient amenities.

Of course, the average Indian living there has little reason to return. Return to what? Parali? Dirt? Potholes? Crumbling bridges? Frying-pan weather?

So here’s a fairer comparison:

Do it on infra, technology, wealth creation, prosperity, law and order…

Is it better? Is it worse? That’s the conversation grownups would have. Not whether we’re good enough for NRIs to return. That’s childish.

But you already know that, don’t you? Yet you ask that question. Because you’re not looking for conversations or solutions. You’re just looking for cheap social media clout by suckling the political camp that best represents your demented follower-base.

Also, who came up with the asinine notion that leaving India is betraying India? The whole world is full of expats. Every Indian on foreign soil is an ambassador of brand India. The common term for this is “soft power.” It matters. Countries spend billions on cultural exports to achieve it.

2005: Israel handed Gaza over on a silver platter. No “occupation”, no Israeli presence, nothing. 100% theirs. If they wanted anything other than dead Jews, they had the chance.

In what world is it normal to demand a country provide water and electricity to its enemy when there is clear evidence that they are using those water pipes to create rockets that then kill Israelis?

You’re worried about the electricity and water in Gaza? You can provide it. Don’t want to? Then keep your mouth shut.

They have nowhere to go those poor Palestinians? Why don’t you go look at a map? They have a border with Egypt. Let them take them in if they care so much.

Oh, Egypt doesn’t want them? Did you hear that? That was my heart breaking for them. Egypt can take them. They don’t want them? Not my problem.

You’re worried about a disproportionate response by Israel? Kindly tell me what a proportionate response would look like.

Because if we did what they did to us, that would require the murder, abduction, and rape of over a thousand people.

Is that what you’re recommending Israel does? Because that’s pretty sick of you.

And once and for all, we need to unequivocally reject the false narrative of “They’re not all Hamas supporters so Israel has no right to attack Gaza.”

A- The Palestinian people elected Hamas. Make up your mind. If they’re a people who you believe deserve a state then it’s time you held them accountable as a people. They elected Hamas. They will pay for that tragic decision.

B- The Palestinian people, not 100, 1,000, or 10,000 of them, give out candies when innocent Jews are murdered. Have you seen thousands of Palestinians speaking out against Hamas? I haven’t. Where are they? Their silence is all I need to know.

C- In every war in the history of the world, innocent people die. That fact, as sad as it might be, has zero relevance to whether the war is justified or not. Need I remind you how many innocent Germans died in WWII? Israel is fighting Nazis now. Zero difference. In war, innocent people die.

D- And finally, don’t come at me with the whole “They can’t speak out. Hamas will kill them.”

Where have we heard that before? “I was just fulfilling orders. I had no choice.”

Oh yes, that was what the Nazis said. It was not a legit argument then and it’s not a legit argument now.

What Israel experienced on October 7th was the equivalent of 9/11 times 50. Israel WILL retaliate accordingly and it will not stop no matter how much you throw your double standard at us.

We not only have every right to do whatever we can to obliterate Hamas, we have a moral obligation to do so.

You might not know this now, but a world without Hamas is a safer world for you and your children.

If you didn’t complain when ISIS was defeated, if you think WWII was justified in order to defeat the Nazis, then you can either stand with Israel while we cleanse the world of Hamas savages or you can go ahead and keep your mouth shut while we do the work from which you will benefit.

If you have any integrity at all, go read the charters of Hamas and the PLO. If you’re honest, ask yourself what “From the river to the sea” means. Look at a map if you can’t figure it out. It means no Israel. Do you support that? Throwing all Israelis into the sea? Because that’s what that means.

If you are still delusional enough to think they want a state, go Google The Partition Plan. They had one. They rejected it. Then google how many times Israel offered them a state.

And if, after all that, you still think the Palestinian’s agenda is anything other than total genocide of the Jewish people, congratulations, you have earned the privilege of being named a flaming antisemite who supports murder and rape.

|| What Makes Ujjain So Spiritual? A Journey From Temples to Tantra Via Mysteries ||

Ujjain, situated on the banks of the Kshipra River in Madhya Pradesh, India, is regarded as one of the seven sacred cities of Hinduism. It holds a unique place on Earth, where it is believed that even death leads to the Moksha. Ujjain is renowned as the city of Mahakal, an incarnation of Bhagawan Shiva. It is believed that Bhagawan Shiva still resides here, bestowing his blessings upon those who visit.

The city, known for its temples, is a sight to behold. Throughout its history, Ujjain has been referred to by various names.
According to the Skanda Purana, Avanti Khand, Avantkshetra Mahatmya, Adhyay 47, Shlok 5-7-

Ujjayinipuri has been known as Swarnasing in the first kalpa, Kushasthali in the second kalpa, Avanti in the third kalpa, Amaravati in the fourth kalpa, Chudamani in the fifth kalpa, Padmavati in the sixth kalpa, and Ujjayini in the seventh kalpa. It is interesting to note that the ancient name of Dwarka was also Kusasthali.
Ujjaini is recorded in the Mahabharata as the capital of the Avanti Mahajanapada. Similar to Taxila and Nalanda, Ujjain was a significant hub of knowledge, science, and culture during the Dwapar era. It is believed that Shree Krishna, along with his friend Sudama and brother Balaram, received education at the Guru Sandipani Ashram located in Ujjain. This place is mentioned in revered texts such as the Shrimad Bhagwat, Mahabharata, and numerous other Puranas. Ujjain has been renowned for producing eminent scholars like Bhaskaracharya and Kalidas.

Now, let us explore the reasons why Ujjain is considered a place of great holiness:

The Shipra River: The river on which Ujjain is situated holds immense significance and is revered as holy as the Ganges. According to the Puranas, during the celestial battle between gods and demons during the churning of the ocean, a divine droplet of nectar fell into the Kshipra River, transforming it into a sacred river brimming with the elixir of immortality. This sacred association with the divine nectar is why the Kumbh Mela, a grand religious gathering, is organized in Ujjain. This particular Kumbh Mela is famously known as the Simhastha Kumbh.

Mahakaleshwar Temple - This temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of India. Mahakal is considered as themost sacred jyotirlinga among the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is said that
आकाशे तारकं लिंगं पाताले हाटकेश्वरम्।
भूलोके च महाकालो लिंड्गत्रय नमोस्तु ते।।
Meaning- Tarak Shivling in the sky, Hatkeshwar Shivling in Hades and Mahakaleshwar on earth is the only sacred jyotirling. There is a story behind how Mahakal originated-
"Once upon a time, a Brahmin lived in the city of Avantika. That Brahmin had four sons. A demon named Dushan created terror in Avantika. To escape the terror of that demon, that Brahmin worshiped Bhagawan Shiva. Pleased with the penance of the Brahmin, Shiva appeared in the form of Mahakal and saved the city by killing the demon. Ater that the devotees of the city prayed to Shiva to stay forever. On the prayers of the devotees, Shiva got established there in the form of Mahakal Jyotirlinga."

Bhasma Aarti - Bhasma Aarti of Bhagawan Shiva is performed only in Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain. This aarti is performed in a very different way at 4 am in the morning. This aarti is first performed with fresh ashes of the pyre. However, due to some reasons, now this aarti is not being performed with the ashes of the pyre. According to Shiv Purana, the ashes are the essence of the universe. One day the whole creation is to be transformed into the ashes. Bhagawan Shiva always holds the ashes of the universe. It means that one day this entire creation will merge into Shiva.

Harsiddhi Temple- This temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas located all over India. The Shakti Peethas are the places where the body part of Sati i.e. the elbow of the hand had fallen. This beautiful temple is built amidst strong stone walls all around on the picturesque banks of Rudrasagar pond.

Kalabhairav ​​Temple- This temple is believed to be about six thousand years old. The miraculous thing about this temple is that the idol of Kalbhairav ​​situated here consumes liquor (liquor). The surprising thing is that on watching that the vessel in which the liquor is offered becomes empty. Where this liquor goes, remains a mystery even today. The Patal Bhairavi temple is also present inside the temple, and an old temple is located nearby where King Vikramaditya attained 'Baital Siddhi'.

Stronghold of Tantriks- Tantra Vidya has its own importance in Ujjain. Whether it is Mahakaleshwar, Harsiddhi or Kaal Bhairav ​​temple, tantric activities are performed everywhere. And why not, after all, Mahakal himself is considered to be the father of Tantra. Here on the Chakratirth (crematorium) situated on the banks of the Shipra river, Tantriks visit from far and wide for tantra action. Here you will find a Aghori at every step.

Ujjain holds a distinct belief and tradition that continues to this day, where Mahakal is revered as the sovereign ruler of the city. In the past, no king was permitted to reside in Ujjain, known as the abode of Maharaj Mahakal. Legend has it that centuries ago, if any king dared to spend a night in Ujjain, he would inevitably lose his kingdom. Even in the present times, both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister refrain from staying overnight in Ujjain. Whether one considers this practice a superstition, a sense of fear, or simply a mark of reverence towards Mahakal, the interpretation may vary based on personal perspective.
