@evanyou I really liked Svelte 3, and I was quite excited about the differences between React, Vue and Svelte (everybody could find something for himself). However I agree, the differences between Svelte and Vue are fading, and the ones to lose are developers 💻

@fireship_dev You should also inline react useEffect to one line, and you will discover it has the same number of lines as Vue and Solid.

A lot of people complain that Svelte is less explicit, but personally, I think if you know Svelte, it is easy to read, and you have way less boilerplate

@ThePrimeagen JS Doc is overlooked these days 😒. But considerign the general tech trends (Monolith > Microservices > Monolith, SSR > SPA > SSR) I believe JS will make a comeback🦾

@flaviocopes Btw, I agree the EU legislations often slow down progress, but if I had to choose living in EU without Bard, or in any other country with Bard, I will chose EU 100%, it offers a lot of life quality benefits compared to other states, and GDPR is one of them

ChatGPT ended up complying with Italian regulations, the same will happen with Bard and EU.

@madzadev I strted using YARN🧶 instead of NPM🐻 like a year ago, mainly because I was working on a project with workspaces (NPM still cannot properly handle workspaces).

Since then I use YARN by default (it also seems to be faster than NPM) 🚀

@catalinmpit They won't replace these jobs in general, but some people might lose their jobs because of AI.

The only way to keep your job is to master AI as a tool and use it to become more productive (and thus more competitive).

Anyway, I think the weirdest question I've heard was to explain js Symbol.

They have some cool usecases, but I think most of the people have never heard of them (I used them in Svelte)
