A Nuffield Health spokesperson said:

“The safety and wellbeing of our patients is our top priority, that’s why as a precautionary measure we have temporarily paused our complex colorectal surgery care pathway at our Brighton Hospital. We will continue to liaise with patients who may need their surgery to be rescheduled.”

“We have made this proactive decision as part of our standard clinical governance procedures, due to an increase in incidents with patients having complex colorectal surgery.”

Chemorad then watch and wait or AP. Watch and wait if it were me.
