We are aware of fraudulent emails or SMS text messages branded as AAA that have been sent to recipients congratulating them on “winning” or having an “expiring offer for a car emergency kit.” Over the past several months we have communicated to our members about these scams, which are common among other companies as well.
AAA did not send these emails and advises anyone who receives them not to open or click on any links in these emails or texts and delete them immediately. Remember, AAA will never ask for sensitive information via unsolicited messages.

Getting your kids ready for college can be overwhelming with all the things they need to bring. Don't forget another need - insurance! For peace and safety of their student, AAA recommends parents to review their insurance policies before college life begins.
If a student is taking a car to college, it's important to review your car insurance to ensure that both the driver and the vehicle are properly classified. Additionally, consider how often the student will be driving the car, where it will be parked, and the potential liability risks if a friend asks for a ride or wants to borrow the car.
