This is a passion project I've told no one about, but it's out of the box and (mostly) ready for the world:
I have a new website (and Instagram account) devoted to the American Association!
@aabaseballfan1 on Instagram & https://t.co/qe2sm25y1y are now LIVE!
The RailCats have won two straight in Sioux City to move to 9-8, a legitimate accomplishment...but "man, oh man" did they get some help on the final out tonight.
Ball four would've loaded the bases in a one-run game...
The Fargo-Moorhead vs. Kansas City was a fascinating matchup because F-M has great offense and awful pitching, while KC has awful offense but great pitching.
Wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm not sure 1-0 and 3-2 (both KC wins) was it
Hate to say it, but Mitch Lambson might be washed. His last start was solid, but two of his first three starts have been awful, including tonight.
He’s never been an overpowering guy, but control and command hasn’t been working for him much this year
@IndyBallDugout 100%. I’m also in favor of a constitutional amendment that would ban all jerseys that have only a number outline with no color change for numbers/letters
Thank you, Landen Bourassa! 👏
Over the past six years, you have represented the Goldeyes with pride and professionalism, all while becoming a giant in the community, and one of the most beloved players in franchise history.
Best of luck in Mexico, Landen!

@indyballpod Side note: did they agree to be co-managers so whatever ghastly record they end up with they can try to get BBRef to credit to the other guy?
@goertzy80 I used Pointstreak on the back end a couple years and it was annoying (their lack of customer support wasn't helpful either), but the public-facing side is so much more user-friendly. Plus Pointstreak's Text Stats gave you so much more info
There's a lot iScore can learn
@ArthuronSports I did manage to save every box score going back to 2009 (though a few were probably incorrectly saved because there were over 10,000 of them) and I'm working on building out complete team schedules going back to the start in '06, which will eventually end up on my site
@ArthuronSports Individual player stats (and team stats) are all on Baseball Reference, so season and career record-keeping is not an issue.
What's gone are 17 years of schedules, box scores, individual game logs, and back-end reports (splits, daily reports, etc.)
Mongo got tossed in Kansas City for arguing balls and strikes, the very next pitch drilled a KC batter in the leg, then between innings the benches cleared with Sioux City's Braulio Vasquez getting tossed.
Drama!
Updating the carnage:
Staten Island is still on a 21-105 pace...but now on pace for a -620 run differential. Lost 19-4 today. They're 0-18 on the road & 1-17 in the last 3 weeks.
Firmly in the hunt for worst non-travel team in Indy ball history
@IndyBallNation@indyballpod
A popular @indyballpod & @IndyBallNation pastime has been bagging on Staten Island and I have some horrific numbers:
After 12 straight losses (and losing a DH 11-0 & 14-0 today), they're #onpace for:
>21-105 record
>-526(!!!) run differential
>Only 45,670 fans for 66 home games
Max Murphy has just become the Winnipeg Goldeyes All-Time RBI Leader with this three-run clout to left field. He passes Reggie Abercrombie and has now driven in 396 runs in a Goldeyes uniform. 11-3 Winnipeg, top 7.

@indyballpod@IndyBallDugout Has he mellowed since his Sugar Land/Tri-City days? It seems like I've hardly heard of him butting heads with anyone in Cleburne
