@shin_kale_rider Sinestro’s little speech to Hal in the 2011 movie was actually pretty good at expressing this point actually. Fear is the enemy of will and stops you from acting. Green lanterns should ideally have little to no fear at all obstructing their willpower, which allows them to act.

@LaTeilleA @La_taniere_du_f Yes, he’s very out of the norm. He’s exceptionally powerful even for his time, where the Jedi were far more in tune with the force and more powerful overall. He has a far deeper understanding of the force than anyone of the current era and a far more intense bond to his crystal.

@La_taniere_du_f @LaTeilleA Except the color doesn’t change in its own, the crystal must be extracted from the hilt and re-imprinted upon to change its color. This isn’t the Ninth Jedi alternative timeline where the crystals change at any time, the re-imprinting process is incredibly deliberate.

@La_taniere_du_f The Jedi we’ve seen fall lack the knowledge to undergo the bleeding process, the deep intention to undergo said process at the time to alter the crystal, and the depth of connection that Dagan had, which had long since been muddied by the stagnant nature of the Jedi.

@La_taniere_du_f Dagan can do so much easier as he’s been connected to his crystal for decades (centuries if we count stasis) and comes from a time where Jedi were much more in tune with the force and their connections to their crystals are stronger. 3/
