Having exhausted public land to steal, the government whose mandate has expired is now seizing private property from citizens holding legal deeds. Just this morning, the residents of Karaan woke up to the horror of sudden displacement.

Over half a million people in Mogadishu have been displaced through these forceful, mass-scale evictions since HSM took office, some of them repeatedly. This is not just a statistic; these are 500,000 human beings forced from their homes and exposed to hunger, insecurity, and deep uncertainty.

As much as the people of SSC-KHAATUMO has the right to self determination, the Idea of Federal government try to force the finalisation of state formation without consultation of #Puntland and SSC is time ticking bomb that will produce a bad result.
And taking federal forces there is just blunt stupidity.

When soldiers with bad reputation of corruption are lift with diplomatic responsibilities, they tend to mingle with things they have no knowledge of.
There more 4 bridge of diplomatic protocol in the same letter.

1. You say you are neutral yet you have the same view with one side by saying the election is disputed
2. You say you are neutral yet you have a political view on national discussions by saying “you support the FGS on 1 person 1 vote”.
3. The #ATMIS peacekeeping mission can only keep peace if all parties believe they can remain neutral.
4. We haven’t seen any media say Atmis is part of the electoral process in Jubaland, hence offices responding to allegation is unusual.

Rectification is a must.

BREAKING: Somali troops move towards al-Shabaab strongholds in Jubaland

Federal and regional Somali forces captured a key juncture in the village of Harbole in Lower Jubba region, Wednesday.

The military units that reached area reportedly launched the operations from Afmadow and Jana Cabdalla.

This operation reportedly has two aims - to clear the road between Kismayo and Afmadow, and to disrupt al-Shabaab movements between Middle Jubba and Baddamadow.

Meanwhile, the forces have also captured Welmaro village, northeast of Afmadow.
