It’s 90 in the shade with a breeze. That’s why we brought coconut water and fruit! Stay hydrated and cool.
Thank you for holding it down at Houston Fan Fest #WorldCup2026USA
National Public Safety Telecommunications Week included a "pie your supervisor" day. I missed the memo…
Ok fine — I got the memo, but I made the @HCSOTexas EDC Commander earn it. 🤣🍿
@hcso_Jail_Chap and APOA showed up and showed out! Officer appreciation with some burgers hot off the bbq pit. Teammates had the opportunity to catchup while getting a bite.
Today, we celebrated National Public Safety Telecommunications Week by providing lunch to our amazing dispatchers. It is a small gesture to thank them for their hard work & dedication.
Shout out to @HCSOCPAAA for doing the cooking!
They are the first responders. Calm when the world isn’t. Steady when it matters most.

Teammate of the Week: @SheriffEd_HCSO and @HCSOJail recognize Detention Officer Covington for going above & beyond.
He intervened when a teammate was being followed in a threatening manner, calmly de-escalated the situation, and helped ensure the suspect was detained

Our team at the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center celebrated Thanksgiving with a luncheon that included cajun fried turkeys, plenty of homemade sides, & dessert. Thank you to @AAPOATEXAS for dropping off turkeys & Director Klozik for showing off his turkey frying skill.
It was an honor to provide turkeys for the kids participating in the “Badges & Gloves” boxing camp held at DeAnda Brothers Boxing.
Thank you to @HCSOPAL for inviting us to participate.
What an incredible day! Over 4500 frozen turkeys with sides were distributed throughout the Houston/Harris County area. Thank you to all of our partners & volunteers. Another great Thanksgiving event in the books. 🦃
