We can always count on Lee Emerson from @Academy (10375 North Fwy) to take care of the @HCSOTexas team working @FIFAWorldCup Fan Festival. It’s hot, but more bearable with @froggtoggs cooling towels. Thank you for the donation!
We are on the last day of National Public Safety Communications Week & ending it on a high note! Beautiful flowers from @SheriffEd_HCSO & @HCSOChiefTommy, snacks & good food from @HCSO_Parks, & the ice cream lady (aka @HCSOTexas EDC Commander Victor) came through with ice cream.
National Public Safety Telecommunications Week included a "pie your supervisor" day. I missed the memo…
Ok fine — I got the memo, but I made the @HCSOTexas EDC Commander earn it. 🤣🍿
One night down at the @HCSOTexas EDC. We rewarded ourselves with a Sunday morning breakfast that included menudo and tamales.
We’ll stay at work as long as it takes to provide uninterrupted 911 service. Stay strong Harris County!

The @HCSOTexas EDC team appreciates the donation of food from Jose Vazquez (@Walmart #1279). Lee Emerson (@Academy #18) donated air mattresses & sleeping bags. Our team members will stay at the building from 1/24/26-1/28/26. Also, credit to @AAPOATEXAS & @FOP39 for the food. ❄️
New Year’s resolution for 2026 DOES include eating cake & celebrating the little things in life!
We decided that everyone should have a piece of cake to celebrate all of the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center employee birthdays in 2025.
🎂🎉🎈
Hey y’all, it’s Christmas Eve!! 🎄
Fried chicken, waffles, eggs, potato casserole, grits, sausages…mmm good. Ok ok I’m thankful for the incredible teammates at the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center—always coming together, supporting one another, & keeping the spirit merry.
It’s almost Christmas and everyone is in a festive mood. Thank you to @AAPOATEXAS for making arrangements with Dreamland Entertainment Houston to have Santa stop by the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center.
Wishing you a season full of warmth and the magic of Christmas.
🎄🎅🎁
@PhD_OnTheCouch@HCSOTexas We are blessed to be in a beautiful building. We think the lighting is perfect! If you would like a tour, we will be more than accommodating.
The hardest thing about decorating for Christmas is getting the tree out of storage! Luckily, we have help.
Beginning this year, the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center will have employees adorn the tree with their own special ornament.
More pics of the special tree soon.
The @HCSOTexas Communications Officers are committed 24/7, year-round, to ensure help is always available, even during long holiday weekends. Rest up, enjoy the leftovers, football, shopping, or whatever makes you happy. We’ll keep watch.

Happy Thanksgiving from AAPOA.
We’re thankful for our members, our partners, and the community we proudly serve.
Wishing you and your families a safe, peaceful, and meaningful holiday.

Our team at the @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center celebrated Thanksgiving with a luncheon that included cajun fried turkeys, plenty of homemade sides, & dessert. Thank you to @AAPOATEXAS for dropping off turkeys & Director Klozik for showing off his turkey frying skill.
Yesterday, our @HCSOTexas dispatchers who regularly dispatch for @HCSO_D3Patrol took a break to go & meet the deputies they support daily. It's like a behind-the-scenes reunion where they finally get to put faces to the voices—because every great team needs a little face time!
@HCSO_CIB@SheriffEd_HCSO We would like to congratulate Communications Officer Charles “Mr Chuck” Thompson on his well deserved retirement. Thank you for your service to the citizens of Harris County.
It’s National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and the @HCSOTexas wants to thank our great communications team, who does a tremendous job keeping our residents and deputies safe every day. These men and women are critical to our success and we appreciate their dedication and commitment! 💛🎧
In honor of 2025 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, teammates from @HCSO_K9 & @HCSO_D3Patrol brought goodies for our @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center team this morning. Thank you for the kind gesture.

Today, @HCSOTexas Emergency Dispatch Center Supervisor Elizabeth McEntire & I had the opportunity to speak to students enrolled in the Public Safety Telecommunicator Program @ Houston Community College Acres Home Campus. We are optimistic these 8 students will join our team.
“Dispatchers are the unsung heroes, orchestrating the symphony of life’s emergencies.”
