Bitconnect made a choice to pay out investments in BCC instead of USD, as they had with all other payments, and did so without the knowledge or consent of heir investors. USD is how all investors we were paid, and BItConnect chose to ignore this, thus scamming others.

Loans could have even been paid back in BTC, but they chose their own currency. That is “how” people were scammed. Any logical mind can see it.
