@golfprogress@LoganGrafTax@Micha_Siegel When GPA is a core metric for all internships across disciplines, a B or two can be debilitating. It shouldn’t, but that luxury isn’t afforded anymore. I had a B in FAR 1 and it cost me a full time position with a mid-size firm in 2025 post-graduation.
@ReformedResist If the trades can have it, why not us? First order of business is banning accreditation/testing in all non-US jurisdictions. Canada will not be spared as it’s basically an Indian colony at this point.
@BowtiedCappy They need to lurk more. Not everyone has the skillset to work remote and travel while they assess their next moves in life. A bad W2 can be worse than no W2. I’m re-learning this lesson now lol
@BowtiedCappy@Empty_America Your take reminds me of a broker friend who is monetarily successful. He spends $1-2k weekly eating and drinking in bars and can never understand where his money goes. Some people intentionally choose not to budget and spendmaxx every week.
@BullyEsq “Don’t compete with me, young man.” I hate this trend of licensed professionals telling people not to enter their field. Being a tradesman in BFE is not the path to prosperity.
