@CumnorPC Indeed. Although I'd love to swim off Appleton Landing or Bablock Hythe, having seen what washes off the fields at times, and following the campaign of @WindrushWasp (the Windrush flows into the Thames not far upstream of Appleton), I don't feel confident about water quality.

@charlie_baker23 Love this positive thread. It did bring home to me however that to make car-free work well for yr household, you have made consumer choices that would be out of reach for many. The other thing needed, is subsidy and support, so this can be a positive choice for all.

This fragrant plant gets its name from the fact its leaves have a garlicky-mustardy scent! They can be picked and used in salads from September until it flowers at this time of year - then look out for orange-tips topping up on nectar.
