@MrHumanityGives@marcuslemonis Hi - I teach 5th grade ELA in Jacksonville, FL. I would be so grateful for any donation to my classroom! https://t.co/jHlQtpRftl
Can the color of celery be changed? Our hypothesis is yes because the stem transports water! After 20 trials and replication of results by Mrs. Petruzzi’s class our hypothesis is validated. Check out one of our trials!
@RyanBartlett Thank you so much @RyanBartlett___ for supporting teachers! I am going into my 15th year of teaching! I love to do room transformations. Any help is greatly appreciated! https://t.co/Qkt76Jowpk
Our fifth graders will be missed by all. They’re off on a grand adventure to middle school. Don’t be sad it’s over, be glad you had the experience. ❤️🐾😎🎉
Congrats Mrs. Billman on being named @collierschools represenative for Volunteer of the Year! @LPEPanthers are so proud to have you supporting our students. Thank you for your selfless gift of time, patience and encouragement❤️
A5: Is this a trick question?#STEAMinthePARK has been the most impactful PD I’ve experienced. Not only did I leave with strategies & resources galore, I left with a community of educators I call my friends. PD devoid of relationships & support is in a word…empty. #STEAMinthePARK
If I could go anywhere for #STEAMinthePARK 2024, I’d pick @GrandTetonNPS .
The opportunity to learn and grow in that amazing place while making even more firefly friends would be incredible! Something about all the wide open space and mountain air calls to me.
A2: The hiking and exploring. Sometimes planned and sometimes spur of the moment. Getting outside and thinking of ways to either get my students outside or bring the outdoors inside is so important. #STEAMinthePARK
A4: Learning to listen to and respect others can be difficult for my Ss. Collaborative tasks allow them to build on the ideas and strengths of each other. #STEAMinthePARK
A5- I like any kind of PD that gives me a voice and a choice. #STEAMinthePARK is the best PD around because it is outside, engaging, hands on, meaningful, and applicable to so many different areas.
A4- Team work makes the dream work! We all have different strengths that can make a project or mission better. Collaboration and learning to listen are so crucial. #STEAMinthePARK
A2: My most favorite thing was looking at the Milky Way. The beauty was indescribable. From then on I’ve never seen the sky the same way. #STEAMinthePARK
A3: As far as my daily life, I hike as often as possible & I've joined local outdoor clubs which offer varied annual trips - it helps to be w/ like-minded folks. For education I work closely with my asst principal in developing an outdoor STEM education program. #STEAMinthePARK
Q3: I incorporate my experiences and my love for the outdoors in the STEAM challenges I provide each week. #STEAMinthePARK has inspired me to get kids excited about being outside and appreciative of the world around them.
