Storytelling is about convictions and being brave. Very few walk that path. From producer, director to actors, I'm so amazed by so many decisions that has gone into making #Toxic a reality. What beautiful performances by everybody and man oh man...Raya, the older madder version was soo good. For me, the last half hour was beautiful. Its definitely calls for a big screen experience. As an artist, when you play a character, you try to bring it to life from the bottom of your heart. And here, I am truly impressed by the conviction with which the struggle of a powerful man has been portrayed.

Maybe the plot and driving characters are not on the usual track on which most films travel, but that doesn’t mean the track is wrong. The effort that goes into telling a story, and the journey it takes from being a thought in the mind to becoming a film on screen, is humongous.

@TheNameIsYash sir, hats off to the way you have surrendered yourself to a character and a world that demands a larger-than-life performance. I could clearly feel that in every single scene.

It’s not easy to give the audience an experience of how guilt multiplies and increases the toxicity in life. I stand with you for attempting this daring experiment, sir.

We love you for the love you have for taking Kannada cinema to the global stage.

Just want to say this, @TheNameIsYash — you’ve genuinely tried something out of the box rather than taking the predictable route of making another regular, expected, formulaic follow-up to your previous commercial blockbuster.

It takes a different mindset, conviction, and most importantly, the guts to attempt something like this.

#Toxic is an unusual and commendable attempt. There are several portions that are genuinely intriguing and open to great debate, discussion, and learning.

Characters lacked-connect & BGM/voice felt underwhelming.
Yash shines especially the last 30–40 mins.
Overall: easy-watch, unique-experience, worth it for the presentation.

@randomguy07___ Bro actually market wise these cities are big, but only blr,mys,shivamogga,tumkur,dvg gives good collection (especially mys & smg is mass,look at the bms bookings). Mluru is waste..people are not cine lovers there.

I request the Karnataka government to make strict rules and regulations for the Sandalwood film industry and also dismantle the current Film Chamber team because they are completely useless and keep supporting producers from other states

Make a rule that in Karnataka Kannada movies should get the majority of screens and shows while other language movies should not get more screens or shows than Kannada movies

There should also be a price cap for non Kannada movies and distributors should not be allowed to decide ticket prices in Karnataka for non Kannada movies Tickets should be kept affordable for the audience

I also request Andhra Pradesh CM Pawan Kalyan sir and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy sir to introduce similar rules where Telugu movies get the majority of screens and shows in their respective states and there should be no unnecessary special price hikes for non Telugu movies

If these rules are implemented properly there will be less hatred and unnecessary arguments between Telugu and Kannada audiences and eventually between Kannada Telugu Tamil Malayalam and Hindi audiences

For decades many good Kannada movies have received huge positive responses and even sold out shows but distributors have still removed their shows and replaced them with movies from other languages Now the same thing has happened in the Telugu states with Irumudi and people are angry about Toxic

So instead of blaming each other we should have fair rules for every industry Let Kannada movies get priority in Karnataka Telugu movies get priority in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Tamil movies get priority in Tamil Nadu and the same principle can apply everywhere Then audiences from every South Indian industry can enjoy movies without constantly fighting over screens shows and ticket prices
