The Liberal government just confirmed that "clear majority" in the Clarity Act means 50%+1.

That's always been the case, of course - if the Liberals had wanted to put 60% in the Clarity Act, they could have done so.

What really set David Eby off was when @SecTreasuryofUS Scott Bessant opened the door to a pipeline from Alberta to the US Pacific Northwest.

Eby blamed that on our meetings in Washington DC.

That seriously diminished Eby’s power to veto Alberta Oil Exports. His reaction was the same as when Nutien moved Potash exports from BC to Washington State at the cost of BC jobs.

He threw a childish tantrum and resorted to name calling.
