@Aiims1742@CR_AACR@Pasca_Lab@UMICHpancreas Thank you for spotlighting our work! It’s been a great project to train on and excited to apply lessons from this project in future work!
So honored to have an image from my first first-author paper featured on the cover! https://t.co/ck6rEcBXYR
Wouldn’t have been possible without the mentorship and support in the @Pasca_Lab
I’m #hiring! If you have an interest in preclinical maternal-fetal crosstalk (i.e., placental physiology) and developmental neuroimmunology, apply for a postdoc position in my lab! Preclinical live virus mouse work, spatial transcriptomics, flow, neuronal culture, etc.!
This month has been a rollercoaster! 🎢 I published my first first-author paper, gave a short talk at PancMidwest, and said goodbye to the best baymate ever Dr. @emilylasse! Feeling so many emotions, including gratitude ❤

There is tremendous excitement about KRAS trials in #PancreaticCancer but I am BEGGING reviewers & editors to understand that we are still PRIOR to that inflection point where paired biopsy samples from patients are widely available to investigators.
I’m so excited to say my 1st first-author paper has been published! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get this to the finish line!

It is #ElectionDay in the U.S. On this day in 1872, Susan B. Anthony broke the law and voted for the first time.
Doing so was illegal because women were not allowed to vote.
She was arrested, charged with voting unlawfully, and fined $100 (which she never paid).
Let’s celebrate her legacy, and that of every person who fought for the right to vote, by casting ballots today.
I had so much fun at this years #AACRpan2024 meeting! I was so honored to be chosen to give a lightning presentation to such a talented, passionate group of people. Thankful for all the connections I was able to make with amazing colleagues in the field 😍
Had a great time sharing my work at the AACR special conference on Pancreatic cancer and getting to hear some amazing talks. Thanks for everyone who stopped by to hear about my research! #AACRPan24

Oncogenic KRAS-dependent stromal interleukin-33 directs the pancreatic microenvironment to promote tumor growth

What is the role of stromal IL-33 in reprogramming the immune microenvironment in pancreatic cancer, especially in early lesions?
PS: I am guessing that Marina drew this figure below.
Our team at #PancMidwestChicago! What a fantastic meeting including a spectacular northern lights show on a clear night! Thoroughly enjoyed it, gotta do it again!
