Retweeting without a like!
We think the "could" is quite important in the tweet from @beardedjourno. Still a long way to go.
Congrats to the Sporting Quarter. We were never against that being developed.
Just trying to protect the green belt & green space for people & nature.

Boris Johnson forward to the Ministerial Code 2019
A beautiful day to be out and about in #Brislington, meeting residents & talking about the terrible mayoral system. People are fed up with being ignored, fed up with the waste, and fed up with the broken promises. They are voting to scrap the Mayor on 5 May.
#scrapthemayor ๐ณ
Are you one of the 70% of people who don't believe that the mayoral system makes a positive difference to Bristol? On 5th May we have the chance to improve democracy, accountability, and transparency by voting for change.
Lots of people reading this, this morning. There's only a few weeks until Bristolians have their say on the role of Bristol Mayor, if you're not sure how you're voting here is all the info to help you make your decision

@stillawake WTF? As in WTF this thread?
This is hardly something hidden by the @TheBristolCable.
The story is literally on their website:

There is mud racking and sh*t stirring - you generally do a better job and know the difference.
@MrGreenGus I know it is petty and a bad look from @MarvinJRees and @nicolabeech. But it is also a sign that the Greens are winning the argument and that Bristol Labour know they are going to lose more seats to them next time around.
Last days of Rome for Bristol Labour.
@nicolabeech @RobBryher "Three years after Bristol declared a climate emergency, not enough has changed say Greens"
@nicolabeech which bit of this is not true?
What have you actually delivered?
And how do you think it is enough?
(p.s. we all love how the Greens are living in your heads rent free!!)
Although if you ask the people of Bristol they may have a slightly different idea of where we are in terms of green policies, in his city, under his leadership!
But he'd have loved the fact that any account with a blue tick tweeted anything about him.
We need urgent, practical action to achieve Net Zero in cities, says Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees. โWeโre beyond banners and t-shirts and in the zone of spreadsheets and project managers.โ #UKCCIC#COP26#netzero#ICLEI
@bristol_citizen HRH: "so you were saying that your city's main contribution to fighting climate change is building over large swathes of green land with unaffordable property that will only profit developers?"
MR: "That, and I might encourage the council to use less round-up on the weeds"
!?!
@TristanCorkPost@DanicaPriest@FriendsWESlopes@Catherinewith11 @TimTipper @SaveAVGreenbelt Good thread.
Well-timed.
Just as @MarvinJRees scurries up to Glasgow to mix with powerful global leaders (his wet dream), it is worth pointing out loudly the appalling way he is treating green spaces in South Bristol and the abject failure he has been so far in terms of climate.
Not sure, but think this is right... open up the full picture for the full picture on all the green spaces of South Bristol, outlined in red, that are being built on/the subject of development plans.
Anywhere I've missed?
