@FriscoFitMom @friscoisd There is no in-service day tomorrow, although having one before everyone changes their learning environments on the 19th would have been very helpful if the district had thought to give us that.

We've been previewing our Virtual Book fair this week! The store will open on October 14 and run through the 27th. The kids have had a blast!

@friscoisd Why aren't we just going back on Tuesday, September 8? It makes absolutely NO sense to have students and teachers go back for only 1 day of face to face instruction and then give the students a 4 day weekend. This idea is even more chaotic, and nothing will get done that 1st day.

@morganharmonyy @friscoisd "We've all already had Corona," what do you mean by this? I understand that seniors want their senior moments to take place. It's possible that they will later on when the virus in under control. I don't fault the district from not wanting you or your senior friends to die...

@GovAbbott Clarification: Are students still taking the STAAR but the requirements are waived, or is the STAAR test completely cancelled this school year?

@Mrs_Ogroske @friscoisd I'm also starting to get confused. I know teachers from almost every district in DFW and many in Houston. No other districts are asking their teachers to report to work for safety reasons. Why is TEA only threatening to remove funding for Frisco if we don't report?

@AndreaCaudle @friscoisd I agree, Andrea. Part of being a future-ready district should mean that we can communicate and work together through technological means as well. I'm not sure how putting everyone in a room together will help work out the e-learning platform.
