We had a BUSY day today! First our awesome student staff member Kathleen showed some amazing high schoolers around the center for Discover IU Senior Week! We also had a great group for our Weekly Mahjong Mondays AND our very first Book Club meeting on “The Leavers” by Lisa Ko!
Last day of Retreat! We first heard from Dr. Mindy Tan from Purdue who taught us about identity and then Chris Chyung who led a Q&A session about civic engagement! Thanks so much again to our amazing facilitators and participants! We had such a wonderful time!
First day of Retracing our Roots Retreat with our colleagues from IUI and Purdue was a HUGE success!!! We heard from Ash Errichiello from IUI Multicultural Center about AAPI History and the Model Minority Myth! Can’t wait for a fun packed day today!
