Over the past few weeks we have seen some of the best weather which winter can provide, but today the weather won and we headed indoors. But @SunderlandWall still provides us with a fantastic venue to support students on the personal development journey
Fantastic spring day at scugdale in the @NorthYorkMoors with the Y10 learners from @AceNetTrust. Students were able to transfer the skills they had learned in the indoor wall to the new environment.
2 positive days on the river Swale at Richmond with both Y10 and Y11 learners from @AceNetTrust. With perfect river level the learners were able to take their first steps into white water canoeing, which give them the opportunity apply previously learning in a different setting
A great evening of rugby with @DykeHouse Y9 team at the Cleveland country rugby 10’s. Unfortunately on the wrong side of the results, but some fantastic individual performances and team play ensured the boy represent them selfs well.

We took to the waters of the river Tyne once more today, but this time we were introducing our Y10 learners to White water tubing. This is a great activity for developing confidence and letting learned discover for them selfs
Positive day for our KS3 learners on the river Tyne at Prudhoe. They are now moving on to start developing their moving water skill after developing a solid foundation of skill on the flat water environment
We headed out the atmospheric location of Hell Gill today. This location gives our learned a fantastic opportunity to continue their individual personal development journey.
Today we were supporting our Y10 learners to complete their geography field work. We were in the stunning costal environment at Seaham which gave us the opportunity to look at sea cliff erosion and longshore drift #LOTC#beyondtheclassroom
Yesterday our Y10 learners were making the most of the wether and using the transferable skills they have been learning in the indoor environment. They also took the opportunity to look at the natural erosion to the rock structure
Y10 learners completed their canoeing unit today, by under taking a journey on the river Tees. This involved them applying their prior learning to successfully navigate through the grade 2 rapids #LOTC#personaldevelopment#outdoorclassroom
