Chief Wesley was recognized at the event for being the #first #AfricanAmericanWoman Battalion Chief not only in @ArlingtonVA but also the entire Northern Virginia region. She was also presented with a U.S. flag that was flown over the @visitthecapitol 6/6/19 in honor of her.

This is the reason that @ArlingtonVaFD, @ACPSk12, and @VHC_Hospital have a partnership. All want to prepare communities with #Hands2Hearts #CPR. Great job by all.

This afternoon we recognized the group effort that saved the life of a @YorktownHS student in January. He is alive today because there were CPR trained individuals nearby ready to act. Trained bystanders are the first link in the chain of survival for cardiac arrest patients.
