When I was writing my thesis I had to take regular 'detoxing' breaks. Some days, after reading archival material, I would feel so much rage for how my ancestors where treated. How do you deal w/ the emotional toll? The historical is so personal sometimes #ACHS2020
Huge thanks to the #ACHS2020 organizers for the engaging conference and to all the @achs_ecrn who contributed radical new research/engagement methods and those who participated in the zoom coffee rooms. Stay safe, sane and connected!
Most likely all #ACHS2020 organisers are sleeping by now or having a very-much deserved rest & drink! Here in MEX, there are still a good 3 more hours to continue catching up with the papers of today! A massive THANK YOU @ACHS_2020 for the conf! Learnt a lot & met fab people ❤️
Just finished attending my last livecast of @ACHS_2020. Congratulations to everyone who participated for making #ACHS2020 such a stimulating and engaging event, and massive thanks to the LOC and conference team!
