@virginmedia Thankyou, over weekend managed to talk to someone. Got a new contract for double speed at 260 for less than I was already paying. Fantastic service and value from VIRGIN MEDIA. Thankyou to all concerned for such efficiency.
@virginmedia I am seriously thinking of leaving Virgin after 25 years or so as you are about to double my bill to ยฃ62.00 a month for speeds of 120mbps. Any recommendations to replace them with a reliable service, that I have had with Virgin. Difficult to talk to them on phone
@notlistenning1@bluenobby I agree and I remember my father telling when he retired โ the Job is not the same anymoreโ which made me smile. Now I find I am saying exactly the same, as the job is not the same. No backing!
@notlistenning1@RobertJudd4 I agree, I occasionally see some arrested at home, so if they are not violent, why? Their address is known. I never in my time in the Job, ever used handcuffs and I was a regular at court including the C.C.C so was not a โ uniform carrierโ. Is it a culture or obsession?
@PrestonsWomble@KentWomble And in 80s in Hersham as I often gave him a lift to Wimbledon or sometimes home. A great lad then and became a good goal scorer with heck of a powerful shot.
@prieurdp@RolfCoptar Read the Highway Code as it is full of good advice and common sense, or as previously advised treat yourself to a copy of Roadcraft, as you might become a safer driver.
@TrumpetDave@prieurdp I can hardly believe this question
The Highway Code explicitly recommends reversing in and driving out when parking or using a driveway. Reverse parking provides a significantly better, safer view of the road when you drive away and lowers the risk of pulling blindly into traffic
@prieurdp Oh dear, obviously never completed any advanced driver training. Do you really think reversing out into a main road is safer? But yourself a copy of the book ROADCRAFT.
