On July 4th, the American Communist Party gathered just steps away from Independence Hall in Philadelphia to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
We reaffirmed that the American Revolution — the people's struggle to fulfill the promise of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for all — is unfinished.
The ACP vows to fight for the working class and realize the vision of American Marxism.
Last week, members of ACP California used donations from our supporters to build and distribute 14 air filters (corsi-rosenthal boxes) for the people of Boyle Heights. Immediately surrounding the cold storage facility, a dense community of working-class Americans and their families are forced to continue their daily lives as normal despite the major ecological and health disasters happening across the street from their homes.
ACP California will continue to help the people of our communities in any way possible. Thank you to our supporters for helping us get air filters into the homes of people who needed them most.
MA is one of the richest states in the country. So why are people still homeless and hungry?
We returned to L Street Mission in Brockton to support lunch service for homeless visitors, where comrades ran the line.
There was a revolution 250 years ago, but now we need another.
This week, the American Communist Party partnered with People’s Free Kitchen, a program of the REAL organization in Florida, to distribute more than 120 free meals to the community.
Much of the food came directly from the People’s Freedom Farm, another REAL initiative, offering a glimpse of what community-based food production can look like outside the for-profit farming system.
These efforts have strengthened local relationships, expanded our outreach, and contributed to continued Party growth.
The Florida chapter of the ACP is building its presence through practical service and community trust.
Through People’s Free Kitchen, REAL, and People’s Freedom Farm, we are helping feed the community, strengthen local relationships, and build the Party through direct service to the people.
The American Communist Party is proud to announce the appointment of Jackson Hinkle as International Secretary following the resignation of Chris Helali from the position on June 5th 2026.
We thank Chris Helali for his service and contributions to the Party in advancing our international work.
We are confident that comrade Jackson’s experience in international relations and commitment to the struggle against imperialism will strengthen the Party’s global outreach.
With grocery prices up 35% since the pandemic, growing your own food is a real solution. We built https://t.co/UwVa25sBtu to help you do it, and we're providing free seeds to get you started.
Americans once grew 40% of their own food in their backyards, side yards, and front yards. All it takes is a little space and some dirt — even buckets on a patio will do.
The Democrat party has won against the rise of Graham Platner in Maine.
Mainers face high taxes, an aging population, and young people leaving for better opportunities all because of Zionist politicians selling out the working class to big corporations and banks. Platner's promise to help the state recover appealed to many, but he lost. Platner lost because he relied on a broken electoral system dominated by Democrats— that he himself argued represented corporations and banks rather than working people—not because of his past or how he addressed it.
Since Bernie Sanders, DSA and progressive candidates have been pressured to either align with the Epstein wing of the Democrats, or endorse those candidates to maintain influence within the party. Graham Platner's campaign is a prominent example of this trend, and now we see calls for Democrats to distance themselves from the DSA as further evidence of that divide.
What is to be done?
The U.S. system has relied on voters channeling their frustration with the status quo into elections, often voting against incumbents rather than out of loyalty to the Epstein wings of the GOP and Democrats. If the goal is lasting political change, the focus should be on building an independent third party rooted in working-class support rather than relying on the Epstein Regime. The DSA has repeatedly failed to transform that system from within, making the case for a new political movement.
The American Communist Party is building an independent party capable of challenging the Epstein Regime. We reject cooperation with the Democratic Party and instead focus on a long-term strategy of building our own political base. Rather than constrain ourselves to the whims of the Democrats, we see growing skepticism toward Zionism, large banks, and major corporations across parts of the political spectrum, including on the right. Platner could only go so far because he was constrained by the Democrats, we are not.
ACP members in San Diego continue their work with the San Diego Food Bank. Members assist by packing food for children which will be distributed at their schools. Food insecurity affects 1 in 4 residents in San Diego County, and 32% of that affects children. As communists, we see that as a failing of the state and the system, and are working tirelessly to fix it. Join the ACP to help fight food insecurity in a city near you.
Cadre from the Ontario and Quebec chapters collaborate with local organization to control invasive species on Mont-Royal
Members of the Ontario chapter travelled to Montreal to learn about the native flora and assist with Quebec's ongoing conservation efforts. Communists take responsibility for the preservation and restoration of the commons for working families now and for generations to come, and it is communist power alone that seriously combats the threat of the ongoing degradation and poisoning of our environment by capitalist elites. If you want to protect the commons together with a serious fighting force, visit https://t.co/yA045ky9KK
On this day in history, in 1918, socialist labor organizer Eugene Debs was arrested under the Sedition Act for opposing U.S. involvement in World War I.
Two years later, he ran for president from a prison cell and received more than one million votes.
ACP ME has been busy prepping this Spring and Summer (while MaineWire has been mainly whining). We are developing our farm, getting ready for hunting season, and learning how to build buildings to withstand Maine weather. We've recently been at OK Community farms helping build a cold storage room.
OK Community Farms, founded in 2010 by Congolese and Tanzanian families, is a farm startup in Maine that specializes in bringing fresh produce, with a particular emphasis on African crops, to the local community. The farm’s mission is to offer fresh, affordable produce that encourages healthy lifestyles.
Meanwhile, other members in other parts of the state have been developing their own farms. Earlier this week, members of the chapter were able to harvest 3 boxes of radish, 2 boxes of lettuce, and a half box of kale and collards. All harvest was sent to a local soup kitchen to feed those in need.
The Communist Party stands for the protection of the rights of farmers and the large-scale construction of public agricultural infrastructure backed by state credit.
The Communist Party stands for the adoption of public health programs and initiatives promoting preventive and holistic care, physical exercise and fitness campaigns on a national scale, and the construction of new healthcare facilities in rural areas.
The American Communist Party has never been stronger, more active, and more full of energy than it is now.
Leave behind dead-end nihilism, sectarianism, and political conformism and join the future of the American Left today!
130 years ago today, on June 19, 1896, silver miners in Leadville, Colorado went on what would become one of the bloodiest strikes in American history. Mine owners had already stockpiled weapons inside their mines and signed a secret agreement never to recognize the Western Federation of Miners under any circumstances in anticipation of the strike.
What followed was described by Eugene Debs as “war, and both sides so regarded it and made preparations accordingly.” The WFM dispatched armed guards to every road leading to Lake County to prevent strikebreakers from coming in. After mine owners reopened the Coronado mine with armed strikebreakers, the miners counterattacked with rifles, dynamite, and a cannon firing shrapnel. The governor sent in the state militia. Five miners were killed. Violent reprisals by strikebreakers and police against union leaders and rank-and-file alike followed, and nine months later the strike was defeated.
Every institution workers could appeal to, including the AFL which the WFM belonged to, was aligned against them. The defeat prompted a profound shift within the WFM toward a revolutionary socialism, leading to their departure from the AFL and laying the groundwork for the IWW.
WFM president Edward Boyce’s response in the wake of the defeat was emblematic: “I deem it important to direct your attention to Article II—‘the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’ This you should comply with immediately. Every union should have a rifle club. I strongly advise you to provide every member with the latest improved rifle… so that in two years we can hear the inspiring music of the martial tread of 25,000 armed men in the ranks of labor.”
—Edward Boyce, WFM Presidential Address (1897)
Deindustrialization has brought economic hardship to Trenton and cities across the country. The New Jersey chapter of the American Community Party calls for reindustrializing America and bringing dignified jobs back to our state!
Los Angeles is so large and geographically diverse that food deserts often exist in the region, sometimes mere miles away from a food oasis. But if an abundance of nutritious food exists only miles away from almost any given area in LA, why do 25% of households face food insecurity and poor nutrition?
The lack of access to affordable, nutritious food is a symptom of vast economic disparities and lack of adequate economic planning in Los Angeles county. That’s why the ACP is working inside these communities to promote food sovereignty, giving working people the power to fill the gaps where the government has failed.
Last weekend, ACP Minnesota drove up to the Minnesota-Wisconsin border to continue our work building a rural library for the locals in Amery. We gained more hands on skills training and are dedicated to completing this project soon to have lasting infrastructure for the community. Join ACP Minnesota to help us complete this project and learn some new skills!
