@XStrangeHistory Thank you, for trying or using our software. I live in Redmond WA. I am happy to have a zoom meeting if I can ever help you build your movie or video product. -Bryan (ACT 3 founder / CEO)
ACT 3 allows you to import a script or give an idea, and it will create a starting script for you. This video walks through getting your movie or your marketing video started.
* You can get started as fast as just saying, "He said this and she said that."
* We allow people without scripts to very quickly get their story told.
* If you have an industry script, you can import that.
* We have top-quality Final Draft import and export for true professionals, and we have a simple version of FinalDraft-like behavior built right into the product for free.
* To get started quickly, we have a set of digital actors that we map to your characters. We do deep analysis to map them well, so you don't have to customize them right away. You can also upload photos or your ideas, and create custom characters over time easily.
* We have worked on our YouTube channel to create 33 videos that walk through each different part of filmmaking. Even if you're just creating a marketing video or any kind of video.
* Each video makes things easy to understand, and how to walk through the process:
1) Upload digital actors
2) Different costumes (outfits) and when outfit changes happen
3) Locations/Sets: Enter once. They are repeated consistently and with automation
4) Voice Actor support
* The biggest strategy of ACT 3 (https://t.co/ln5SZFKPMs) is that you specify something once, and it may be used in an hour-long part of your movie and stays consistent for weeks. Your character won't be changing heights between videos. Their clothes won't be changing to different colors. The room will stay the same size. The exact specifics on the room walls will stay the same, even when the camera points in very different directions. You'll get consistency.
* Another big strategy: Specify something once, and it always gets automated, repeated everywhere consistently. Consistent characters, outfits, sets/locations, etc.
* We automate creating First Frame and Video prompts.
* We automate creating first frames.
* We automate "Pre-Visualization" with our AI Cinematographer doing deep visual analysis, creating storyboards for your entire 2+ hour movie.

This is one of 33 training videos on our YouTube channel covering every part of filmmaking, from digital actors to outfits to locations to voice actors. It works the same whether you are making a feature film or a marketing video.

Hi David. I am ACT 3 AI Filmmaking founder here.
* I love what you're doing above.
* To understand the above, is it about training a LoRA? Or work in ComfyUI? Are you training your own full gen AI video model? Or are these tools to process the output of Seedance 2.0 (such as detecting failed shots or videos with bad audio)?
Is this a harness that pairs up with Claude Code or without Claude Code?
* Know that with us, we are creating an MCP so Claude Code users or anybody can use our software for AI filmmaking.
* This allows making changes across the two-hour movie, and it updates all the appropriate prompt files.
* Not just for videos but also first frames or character shots.
* You can also work at a high level, like changing outfits or changing cinematography decisions at a high-level storytelling and filmmaking level, and then we auto-generate the prompts.
* We'll be fully usable by Claude Code, and we'll have a full MCP. It's getting ready to launch. We're always happy to have you be an early user if you wanted.
* I'd love to understand the diagram above more. Is it about an MCP-like harness, or is it about using your own GenAI model, or something else, or working great with confyUI?

ACT 3 will be launching "Claude Code AI filmmaking with ACT 3" soon. We will have entire filmmaking with mass scale automation. This is our specialization to make 30 minute to 3 hour videos or movies with everything automated ... to just what the "storyteller" wants to provide themself (script, etc.).
Claude Code via ACT 3 for filmmaking is for power users. Our normal ACT 3 product is easy to use for non-power users. The Claude Code MCP to ACT 3 is just the higher end.
Envision typing this into Claude Code:
* For scenes #6 through #19, if Alex is talking, make sure his gun is slightly visible in his waistline under his jacket
* After all scenes that are dusk or evening, have everyone switch into a new outfit (costume) in the next daytime scene they are in.
* We are going to change all scenes with Sally with Zoe if they take place at the Miami Beach set/location.
* Re-generate videos for scenes 5 through 39 if Alex has dialogue, since we changed his voice. Use Seedance 4k.
* Download all of my first frames from Scene #6 through Scene #30 into my local directory "backup"
* Regenerate scene #40 thru #43 videos. Then create an entire video of my movie. Then download it into my "ready_for_release" directory.
* Upload my videos in directory /B_Roll/ up into ACT 3. Read in BROLL_to_Scenes_mapping.csv which will tell you which B-Roll video gets mapped into which shot #.
* Or Upload my desktop "Alien_Movie.fdx" Final Draft script into a new project. Then generate first frames for all shots, after doing the cinematography planning and storyboard panels.
We save you many months of labor to get your movie made. Or 30 minute marketing video, social media video, etc.
DAY 30 of making a feature film with AI in 30 days. Today I discuss my progress so far, what I've achieved and what I could have done differently!

We have extensive work in ACT 3 AI filmmaking to make what you talk about work very well. We are the software Jenny used to finish her AI film. (She is in final edit and sound now).
* We import industry scripts. Our AI makes the first pass at Seedance prompts (and first frame prompts)
* We have extensive support for "Sets/Locations"
* When the Script has SCENE HEADERS (EXT Outside Cofeeshop, Catalina, CA - DUSK). We create that
* When the SHOT header in the script says "SHOT #13: OTS Jenny to Steve". We get the Over-the-shoulder correct"
* In the script can cinematography guidance: "Steve and Jenny are walking, and the camera is tracking from front, right cowboy shot. A bicycle is coming up frame right up to Steve's right side"
* ACT 3 is the only product on the market that has "geo-spacial reasoning, wrt North/South/East/west". This makes it easy to control visuals, in this way...
* Final Draft SCRIPT "General" line says, "Santa Monica California. Boardwalk goes north to south. Steve any Jenny are walking south. Steve is on the west side. The ocean is to the west. Camera starts at 15 feet elevation and lowers to shoulder length, pointing west, tracking Jenny and Steve as they walk. Camera is 18 feet east of Jenny"
* Seedance can't handle that powerful north/south/east/west geo-spacial reasoning. But ACT 3's advance AI does. And then we create Seedance prompts automatically that utilize them (in their language)
I 100% agree. This is why I built ACT 3 to match how filmmaking perfecting filmmaking. We have our version of "Final Draft" built in. (With Final draft import/export) We let storytellers and writers do their work in their script. We automate creating everything from there (first frame, character sheets, Seedance prompts, first frame prompts, set/location, etc.). The filmmaker can upgrade if/when they want and need. Our Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve equivalent makes it easy to work with 2 or 3 hour video productions, trivially.
We make consistency happen without the filmmaker having to do that work. (Outfits, heights of character, character look, character voices, sets/locations, room sizes, etc.)
Can I sponsor you for $200 to create a big part of your movie or videos. If we can do a zoom meeting, then I'm happy to get you an ACT 3 account with $200 in credits. You can get a lot done with that.
ACT 3 does all of that consistency automated for you: a) character looks, b) character voices, c) character outfits/cosutomes (including changes when needed), d) consistent sets, e) and much much more. It automates everything. [email protected] (I am the CEO and founder)
ACT 3 does exactly this. @jennykrakovsky used this to complete her AI film. It has 3 clicks to generate an entire 2 hour movie. It automatically automates everything to Seedance (creating first frames, creating Seedance prompts, adding the correct images for characters, mapping to the correct outfits/costumes for that part of the movie, background sets, etc.). It can read in the script, and then do 100% of everything to create the movie. Then it comes to upgrading what you want.
It reads SCENE HEADERs in the script when ACT 3 automates building the Seedance prompts. DAY / Night / dusk. Which set. It reads SHOT HEADERs, including seeing the shot type (2-shot, Over-the-shoulder of Steve viewing Alex, Cowboy shot of sally). I, as CEO/founder, am doing zoom meetings to walk through how it can create people's AI films ([email protected])
@jphilipp Great! We are more than software company. I have a team of filmmakers to be a "level 2" team. To make productions happen. So we can fill any gaps you need.
Just contact me after your current movie. I'm sure your current movie will be a huge success
Jenny is creating a movie using AI filmmaking. She's lately been relying on ACT 3 (https://t.co/ch9tHB3Uhx) for it. Much more automation is in play now, like auto-generating SEEDANCE 2.0 prompts. This video reveals the heightened automation in her process.
Hi Philipp. Our software is very powerful a make an entire movie. We even can 100% automate the seedance labor. We can even input a 2 hour long movie script and create the entire first draft movie -- 100% automated.
Our software is more complex and powerful. I (the founder / CEO) Bryan Starbuck am happy to have a zoom meeting with you (or other film owners). On how we can make your work get completed.

We take care of movie & TV production with AI filmmaking. We are able to "get it done" beyond consumer tools. We are designed for real movies and serious production
It's not every day you get to put a quote from a master on your movie poster.
The Rules of Attraction and Pulp Fiction were between them 99% of the reason I went to film school. (The other 1% was I wanted to get the f outta my hometown.)
I'll be vlogging about all of this later tonight...
@jennykrakovsky recently has been using ACT 3 (ACT3ai .com) and talks about it in her post below.
ACT 3 removes a lot of labor. It imports the script. Filmmakers can work at the script level. Building Seedance prompts is automated by ACT 3.
Jenny does amazing work. The ACT3 software is helping her get far farther, with far less time.

DAY 18 of Making a feature film with AI in 30 days. Today I have a new plan! And a new workflow to hopefully help me speed up.
Follow my journey by subscribing to my channel on Youtube below.
Pirates. Aliens. Zombies. A friendly talking fox.
* Cast whoever your story needs — ACT3 keeps every character consistent across every scene, every outfit change, every shot.
* Same face. Same vibe. Always.
* This is what AI filmmaking should feel like. → https://t.co/k20jY6uVzU
Talk to your movie in ACT3. The dad saw the crowd was too small, typed "make it bigger" into the chat window, and the scene updated right in front of him. No menus, no re-rendering, no waiting. Just tell the AI what you want and your movie changes while you watch.
Beat Writer's Block: ACT3 AI Turns Your Brief Into a Script. Story brief and then ACT3 builds the script for the video. This allows taking your initial story idea, and then breaking writers block by seeing the first version with ACT3 AI writing the script. You can then improve the script from there.
With Final Draft IMPORT and EXPORT, it becomes trivial to iterate across the start to finishing stages of the writing process.
