@DanChurchy @AwayDaysFB Was a bit tongue in cheek, and I think there is an inevitability that ai will find its way in. But the laws of the game are often a guide and open to subjectivity (force, intent, simulation etc) so the final say will always be a human call

@DanChurchy @AwayDaysFB The ai would need to be trained to make such calls. What happens if a programmer bakes in a little leniency towards their favourite club and all of a sudden the ai might as well just be a middle aged bloke from the Greater Manchester area
