Excited to share that I'm joining the faculty at @TeachersCollege this fall as an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Education. Grateful to my many mentors & colleagues at Cornell, Brown, and beyond who have advocated for me and supported my work.

I’m honored to have received student paper awards from ASA’s Sociology of Education and Sociology of Population sections for “The Demographics of School District Secession.” Many thanks to the @ASA_SoE and @ASA_Population communities & the award committees for the recognition!
New paper with @sealvarado_ out now in @CiCoJournal! We find that exposure to neighborhood disadvantage across two generations reduces earnings in adulthood for White (21.34% decline) and Latino (36.24% decline) Americans, but not Black Americans.
