@Ralph_MasonJr I have a feeling that depending on how much draft capital we have near the trade deadline we might look for a trade for a back up big of a higher ceiling. If he can stay healthy and thats a big if, i think we will be fine until then
Yeah but they have capitalized on their players. They dont just let them walk. They always get something of value in return for players that they are not even using almost at all. They have also a great scouting team that led to finding cheap gems. Comparing OKC, top 1 or 2 front office of the league to us its just funny at this point. Ill love for us to be better but its just a lot of malpractice all over again. Im not even mand at the current roster but we clearly need some movements. Ill keep my opinion on the current roster until the season starts. But if we stay as it is, doesnt look promising
@LakeShowLukaaa Im not mad at the kennard trade. Im mad that he didnt bring people that we use assets to get them back. We have use 4 seconds rounds on dudes that literally played 3-4 months for the team
@LakeShowLukaaa Missing on everything else is not whatever, its literally for what gms are paid for and he fumbled. I can give him credit for the luka trade even though that was 70% nico just being the worst.
Naaah my friend. That was the worst one, but letting caruso walk for nothing, giving second rounders 3 years instead of 4, 2 17th draft picks to the garbage, no concept of asset management, missing on MLEs with nunn and Vincent. Not trading Hachimura if you knew he wasnt coming back, a second for kennard and as well not retaining him or smart for the price that they left. Yeah he has done some good stuff as well but the bad decisions took us to where we are today, with a clear deficit of assets and a roster that is not fully completed to be a contender.
Free agent center Kevon Looney has agreed on a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, Life Sports Agency CEO Todd Ramasar tells ESPN.
I will say, and this is not a shot towards lebron or anything like that, but the fact of him being in the team last season, created a sense of urgency. We all knew that we had a bunch of free agents at the end of the season. Making trades to get some assets back could have diminished your chances of longer run. Also the only month that we saw the team 100% was march and we rolled. So yes it is a really nad asset management problem but there is so caveat to it. No body saw coming the two injuries on the okc game.
