Hard to believe we’re seeing striking differences in septoria control already in this Oct sown Saki in Herefordshire - the tips of the flags hit as they started to emerge 3 weeks ago in untreated plots. @ADASGroup@ChloeMo95@rebecca_joynt@IsabelleSimsPhD@ADASRosemaund
🎥Now we head over to @ChloeMo95 in #Herefordshire for an update on #wheat disease pressures ahead of T2 🌾

@ADASGroup teamwork at its finest, implementing different cultivations in our BREAKTHRU second year trial. Studying rooting under varying soil strengths in spring wheat with different ethylene sensitivities - led by @UoNBiosciences
Enjoying a day @ADASRosemaund filming our root washing process for @Root2Res. It might look like 4 buckets on a garden table but it’s an important piece of kit!
Are you growing winter rye? I am looking for a trial site (550m2) to test a spring herbicide for crop safety. Plots would be treated and harvested by ADAS. Compensation given for crop loss and land use. If interested please DM me #herbicideselectivity@ADASGroup @weedwiseuk
Managed to go sampling on a lovely sunny day this week for the @DefraSurvey - these samples were sent to @ADASRosemaund for CSFB and disease assessments ☀️🌱🐛
Great discussion on disease control in our @ADASGroup Farming Association Q and A session with @AdasBlake. Followed by a workshop on fungicide programmes in Herefordshire. #agronomy#diseasecontrol#ADAS
Tour of the @ADASGroup Farming Associations complete, presenting to @ADAS_Mowthorpe last week, @ADASRosemaund Tuesday and @ADASBoxworth today. Giving an update on cereal disease control and lessons learnt from 2023. Lots of great discussion!
Today was the Rosemaund Farming Association Winter Conference where we learnt lots about a variety of subjects including SFI, N efficiency and fungicide performances this season. Thank you to all of the speakers 👏🏻 @peteberry2003@AdasBlake@ChloeMo95@rebecca_joynt@ADASGroup
Our team @ADASRosemaund are busy carrying out OSR disease and cabbage stem flea beetle assessments! We use a passive method for CSFB where the plants dry out over buckets of water so the larvae exit, drop into the water and can be counted in a few weeks time 🌱🐛
In the autumn we carry out in-field aphid and natural enemies assessments on wheat and OSR, and collect OSR plant samples for disease and CSFB assessments @ADASRosemaund
🌟Dennis🌟 and his team are out harvesting potatoes for a silver scurf trial. These will then be taken back to base to be graded and assessed for disease 🥔🥔🥔🥔
