Our team @ADASRosemaund are busy carrying out OSR disease and cabbage stem flea beetle assessments! We use a passive method for CSFB where the plants dry out over buckets of water so the larvae exit, drop into the water and can be counted in a few weeks time 🌱🐛
In the autumn we carry out in-field aphid and natural enemies assessments on wheat and OSR, and collect OSR plant samples for disease and CSFB assessments @ADASRosemaund
Data in the survey can be used to monitor and observe the geographic spread of pest and pathogen species over time, we're looking forward to seeing the analysis that can be done to get the most out of this dataset
The @ADASGroup have taken over the @DefraGovUK survey of crop pests and diseases, introduced by @IsabelleSimsPhD
