In 2025, @ADL recorded 6,274 antisemitic incidents across the U.S. Incidents occurred in all 50
states and D.C. — no state was spared.
156 of those were recorded in Michigan.

Does criticizing Israel make me antisemitic? And how is anti-Zionism antisemitic? These are some commonly asked questions. We have answers!

Antisemitic incidents fell in 2025, but physical assaults hit a record high, and there was an average of 17 incidents per day. ADL's Rachel Sass joins @scottarichman on a new #FromTheFrontlines podcast to explain the findings in ADL’s just released Audit of Antisemitic Incidents: https://t.co/MkXQJ4vx98
A new report revealed that in Norway, Jewish children and teenagers are being socially excluded and isolated in schools simply because they are Jewish. And many Jews are hiding their Jewish identity because of antisemitism. This is happening right now, in 2026, in Western Europe. This should alarm everyone.

Happy #Pride Month. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ The LGBTQ+ community has fought for decades to live openly, safely and freely. That progress is real, but so is this: the community is facing a serious and growing wave of hate, harassment and extremism. ADL has stood alongside the LGBTQ+ community for years, and that commitment remains as strong as ever. 🌈
Yesterday, on the one-year anniversary of the antisemitic firebombing attack in Boulder, the local SJP chapter chose to share a lengthy social media post glorifying the attack, lauding the terrorist for his actions, and calling for his release.
While we and others around the country remembered and mourned Karen Diamond z''l, who died from her injuries, and honored the other victims who were badly burned, the local SJP chapter chose to condone the violent attack that claimed an innocent life and left others with devastating injuries.
The content of the post is beyond reprehensible. It is so detached from basic facts, human decency and reality that it would be difficult to take seriously if its message were not so dangerous.
This is unacceptable and simply horrific.
In the wake of rising antisemitic violence, it's critical to understand how anti-Zionism can mask hatred of Jews. Criticism of Israeli policy is legitimate. Denying Israel's right to exist and demonizing all Zionists is antisemitism.

“The safety of Jewish communities depends on our collective willingness to meet this moment with urgency, which is what we are doing everyday at the ADL.” Read ADL Michigan Regional Director Elyssa Schmier’s full op-ed in The Detroit Jewish News:

GLI is an opportunity for 20-40yos to learn how ADL works behind the scenes to combat antisemitism, and provides participants with tools and for combatting bigotry within their own community. If you are interested in applying for the 2026/2027 class, email [email protected].
We are devastated by the deadly shooting at the @islamicsandiego. No one should fear for their safety while attending a house of worship or school.
Our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the broader Muslim community during this horrific moment. ADL and the ADL Center on Extremism are monitoring the situation closely.
Must listen. @MattiFriedman joins @dansenor to unpack how Nicholas Kristof's @nytimes column on alleged sexual violence committed against Palestinians gets the story badly wrong, relying on sources like Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which has falsely accused Israel of organ theft and claims dogs are trained to rape prisoners. That kind of sourcing doesn't just discredit a column. It leads people to question sexual violence allegations, doing a profound disservice to victims everywhere.
All victims of sexual violence deserve rigorous, impartial journalism. This is not it.
Congrats to my friend @biannagolodryga on this well-deserved recognition during #JewishAmericanHeritageMonth. Through her personal story and her book "Don’t Feed the Lion," she’s helping the next generation find the courage to confront and stand up to antisemitism.
Following an exhaustive, two-year independent investigation into sexual violence on 10/7 and against hostages in captivity, a new report documents the horrific reality: Hamas committed systematic, widespread sexual violence with 13 recurring patterns across attack sites, including "kinocidal" crimes targeting families. The evidence, which includes 10,000+ photos/videos, 1,800+ hours of analysis, 430+ testimonies, cannot be denied or dismissed. https://t.co/BL6YLL9ALe
We welcome today’s guilty plea by the man responsible for taking the life of Karen Diamond z"l and injuring 28 others in one of the most shocking antisemitic acts in American history. This attack deeply traumatized the entire Jewish community and served as a reminder of what can happen when antisemitism is normalized in society.
No act of justice will bring back the life of Ms. Diamond, nor will it heal the wounds of those who suffered as a result of this horrific attack on a peaceful group of Americans.
We are deeply grateful for the work of law enforcement and District Attorney Michael Dougherty and his staff for pursuing justice in this case.
This firebombing was not a random act. The perpetrator planned this attack for over a year, targeting Jewish community members who were peacefully and publicly expressing their values. This demands a serious response, but the resolution of the state charges is just the beginning of the long road to justice for the victims.
As ADL’s latest data reveals, 2025 was the most violent year on record for American Jews since we started tracking this data in the 1970s, and last year saw the murder of three people in antisemitic attacks, including in Boulder. We are grateful to Gov. Polis for his partnership in securing additional Non-Profit Security Grant funding to help keep our communities safe, and we are working with individuals, families, schools and elected officials to confront antisemitism every single day.
It's clear there are two eras: pre-Oct 7th and post-Oct 7th. And in 2025, the numbers were still 70% higher than they were in 2022, before the Oct. 7th Hamas massacre. American Jews Report feeling unsafe in the communities where they've lived for generations, even centuries.
