Happy #Pride Month. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ The LGBTQ+ community has fought for decades to live openly, safely and freely. That progress is real, but so is this: the community is facing a serious and growing wave of hate, harassment and extremism. ADL has stood alongside the LGBTQ+ community for years, and that commitment remains as strong as ever. 🌈
Today marks one year since the horrific shooting at @CapJewishMuseum in Washington, D.C., which took the lives of Sarah Milgrim z”l and Yaron Lischinsky z”l. They were murdered while attending a Jewish community event. This tragedy was a sobering reminder of the persistent threat of violent antisemitism in the United States.
This past March, we were honored to hear from Sarah’s parents, who spoke about their beautiful daughter, their grief and how the Jewish community has become their family during this unimaginably difficult time.
May the memories of Sarah and Yaron forever be a blessing, and may we all remain committed to the work against antisemitism and hate.
Ben Gvir's disgraceful behavior towards detained flotilla "activists" is inexcusable and counterproductive. We join Israeli officials and many others in unequivocally condemning it.
While these so-called activists are driven by an anti-Israel animus and focused on provocative actions designed to delegitimize the Jewish state, Ben Gvir's conduct undermines Israel's diplomatic efforts to peacefully resolve this matter and fuels those who seek to delegitimize Israel and target Jewish communities.
Injecting an antisemitic trope into your concession speech by implying the primary winner is controlled by Israel? That’s where you chose to go?
Leaders should know better than to traffic in insinuations about dual loyalty and Jewish control.
Many thanks to @JMartinTV of @11AliveNews for the opportunity to discuss the recently released 2025 Audit of Antisemitic Incidents and what the numbers mean for Jewish communities locally and nationwide. https://t.co/zFLBVWQDop
ADL recorded a total of 6,274 incidents of antisemitic assault, harassment and vandalism across the U.S. in 2025.
That's an average of 17 incidents per day, which is more than double the average of 8 incidents per day between 2020 and 2022.
Our 2025 Audit of Antisemitic Incidents in the U.S. revealed 2025 was one of the most violent years for American Jews. There were an average of 17 antisemitic incidents per day, and for the first time since 2022, antisemitism incidents turned deadly. This is a new and darker normal that should not be acceptable.
While our 2025 Audit reveals a decrease in overall incidents, it also shows that no U.S. state was spared from antisemitism.
Antisemitic incidents occurred in all 50 states and the D.C., with the highest levels of incidents occurring in NY (1,160), CA (817) and NJ (687).
Nationally, antisemitic incidents in K-12 schools have remained historically high since 2023, so the concern is understandable. We are grateful when school leaders treat these incidents seriously so all students can learn in a safe, positive environment. https://t.co/8yhWliG29J
Tonight marks the start of #YomHashoah, a day to commemorate the 6 million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators during the Holocaust. It is a day when we uphold our duty to honor, to remember and to #NeverForget.
To remember and to never forget may sound redundant, but we distinguish between the two because it is not enough not to forget. That’s too passive.
81 years after the Holocaust, remembering must become an active effort.
We recently presented a plaque to @VU_Chancellor Daniel Diermeier to recognize @VanderbiltU's "A" grade on the 2026 ADL Campus Antisemitism Report Card. Special thanks to Rabbi Shlomo Rothstein of Chabad of Vanderbilt and Vanderbilt Hillel Executive Dir, Ari Dubin, for joining.
Today marks 40 years since Leo Frank z"l was posthumously pardoned - a significant day in ADL history. Frank was lynched by a hate-filled mob in Georgia after being unjustly convicted of murder in a trial marred by antisemitism.
May his memory be a blessing.
Since the start of hostilities with Islamic Republic of Iran last weekend, we've witnessed an alarming pattern of escalating, inflammatory rhetoric from voices across the political and ideological spectrum. This rhetoric distorts reality and fuels dangerous antisemitic narratives.
It is a sad irony that an operation against the world’s largest state-sponsor of antisemitism has prompted so much antisemitism...
We call on all public figures – elected officials, political candidates, public commentators – to refrain from reckless statements, unfounded charges, and wild conspiracies that echo the ugliest chapters of history and place Jewish communities in real danger.

For those who have not yet met our new Regional Director, Todd Young, the @AtlJewishTimes wrote a great article about him. Welcome to ADL Southeast, Todd! https://t.co/sFYQ2e7FCO
Grateful to meet with @GovKemp & @GAFirstLady Kemp at the Capitol to thank the governor for his strong stance against antisemitism, supporting the Jewish community through nonprofit security grants & protecting Jewish students in K-12 & college.
The recent arson attack at Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, Mississippi, highlights the continuation of an unprecedentedly high threat environment facing Jewish communities in the U.S. and across the world. Over the past decade, synagogues and synagoguegoers in the U.S. have been targeted in numerous direct acts of violence, including arson attacks, shootings and more.

This year has been one of many challenges, but we're grateful for your partnership in the fight against antisemitism and hate. #HappyThanksgiving from our @ADL family to yours.
