@Grrbyy 30% has been the standard for a long time across multiple platforms. As a dev myself, I wouldn’t mind that being reduced, but I accept the percentage. Steam is not unique in this regard.
I hate how the Death Star just obliterates Alderaan in cold blood after Leia clearly said the Rebel Base was on Dantooine.
George should have made it more clear that the Death Star was shooting in self-defense, maybe even having Alderaan shout something threatening as it fires.
This small indie studio is making a cozy fantasy adventure game where you play as a marble.
-Move by tilting cardboard dioramas
-Explore environments made from everyday objects
-Interact with a quirky cast of characters
It's called The Magical Quest of Molly the Marble. Would you play this?
@Nyukudaily My favorite example is the Portal games. Both 1 and 2 can be beaten in a day or two, and are exactly as long as they need to be. Not a dull moment, no needless padding, just fun from start to finish. They exemplify what I think modern games should be.
Hey guys, a friend of mine, @_Dapper_Duck_ recently announced their game, The Magical Quest of Molly The Marble! Go check it out!

@BluebriarArts Reminder that a game does not need infinite replayability to be fun, and if you need your game to be roguelike to be replayable, then maybe you’re just a bad level designer???
@Rothmus I also wonder how much water is used to simply cool the computers that run all the website servers we use. The more I think about the complaints on AI water usage, the more I wonder if it's just baseless virtue-signaling.
@Bunner_only I think it did have more of an air of mystery to it, the original C418 music especially lended well to that. Modern Minecraft music doesn't quite match that. I think a lot of that emptiness was also because of how comparatively empty the world was in Alpha/Beta though.
anxiety is my default state. If I'm not anxious, something's wrong. I've genuinely woken up, not felt anxious, and tried finding something to be anxious about.
