@imaperson1060@OzzyAussieOtty It's setting an outer bound, not ranking it. If you feel kind of bad, when you see an old tree get cut down, guess what? That's you feeling empathy for it. Doesn't mean you value that fucking tree the same you value your parents, does it?
@hutchy19892@OzzyAussieOtty Yeah, because its sets an absolute outer bound of empathy. It doesn't mean you have more empathy for rocks, than you have for strangers, and that you have more empathy for stranger, than you do for your blood relatives.
@Artsyrean For the sake of other actors in the scene not having to play against empty space, and so they can roughly judge the geometry of it for the sake of like, gestures and physical contact.
@otakobouya It's not clear how beskar is forged, EXACTLY, but it's possible that it's only pliable if heated slowly, or within a very specific temperature range, and remains hard, if it's hotter than that.
@StarWarsDaily_ You must have a balanced diet. Does this mean you also need to eat the same amount of actual literal rancid rotting trash, as you do nutrients your body needs?
@ratacol That's kind of the point, though, right? They're extragalactic - a literal outside context problem. A different kind of sci-fi, colliding with the Star Wars setting.
@OnGP_15@JALAKJIRA Think of Clones and the way they're programmed as like, being in an extreme cult. People who drink kool-aid, or go flood the subway with poison gas, are no less human than anyone, but their framework of thought has been fucked up big time.
