Ok! This is very disappointing to see.

Only four weeks ago we were on @IrelandAMVMTV talking up the lifts situation then today we check how things are to find 10 stations without lifts working!

What the actual?

Yesterday we got word that the Connolly DART station lifts appeared to be out of order. Ahead of a group of wheelchair users going to an @SBHIreland conference this weekend and getting the train from Connolly, we contacted @IrishRail to find out more information.
We were told that the lifts were never out of order despite it also displaying online.
Correct information is essential, particularly when a group of wheelchair users are using a DART station. @mulvanypeopleb1 @adayinmywheels @SimonHarrisTD @EamonRyan

@AccessForAll7 Absolutely disgraceful. Temple Street and CHI have a lot to answer for for the situation they have left the families and vulnerable children in in this regard. The answers they have given to date aren't satisfactory in my opinion.

🚨We’ve been #watching quietly for a while now and what have we noticed.

Firstly the #information issues are as bad as ever, we’ve had to search for todays info and as per the norm it’s not consistent.

Secondly we’ve been receiving lots txts of late and there’s an element of creeping lifts out of service beginning again, #lifts that are refurbed going down. A vote has taken place to place an amendment in the eviction ban that People With Disabilities could not be evicted.

The government voted against it meaning people with disabilities can be evicted.

We are aghast that this would be carried.

We know our place, don’t we.

So dangerous to try and get out.... But just about doable!
