Around 200 parents will spend the night outside Leinster House in protest over the shortage of appropriate school places for autistic children. A new As I Am report finds most parents feel their children don’t get the same chance as non-autistic students.

Don’t forget folks this is on this Saturday! If your child has Spina Bifida and/or hydrocephalus, scoliosis or any complex orthopaedic conditions this is definitely worth attending. The people speaking are an absolute wealth of knowledge.
@rtenews@rtenews please note, this 'federation' has completely ignored and continues to ignore Disabled Persons' Representative Organisations (DPROs) like ours and @vviireland
Why do they do this? You should really ask them, please
@DanaErlich@YosephHaddad This woman's nation Kills and Disables both Children, Women and Men.
May God forgive her and and her Evil Government, because we never can!
@Joan3103 But your association claimed to be Ireland's leading service provider & representative organisation for people with physical disabilities, but the IWA is not. Disabled people & our Carers can run their own Disabled Persons' Representative Organisations (DPRO), State please note!
@DisabilityFed Why don't you celebrate Disabled Persons' Representative Organisations (DPROs) like ours and @vviireland?
This is not a rhetorical question @DisabilityFed BTW
Hello Mr @BernardGloster. Why wasn't our Disabled Persons' Representative Organisation (DPRO) for physically impaired people of every age NOT invited by you and your team to these 'direct engagements'?
Physical Impairment Ireland (PII) is not a DPRO for 'children of a lesser God'
I was encouraged today leading Day 1 of 3 direct engagements with me on making immediate improvements to children’s disability services. 200+ professionals from all over Ireland @HSELive & funded partners debating tough questions about ourselves as service providers. Same tomorrow with another group and then day 3 with parents. We need all children’s services in HSE working together Disability Primary Care CAMHS. @dcediy @NormaFoleyTD1@1Hildegarde@CarrollJennifer @MaryButlerTD Massive challenges for children and families but we can do better. This process is part of our commitment in Programme for Government
Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) is supposedly one of Ireland's leading service providers and representative organisations for people with physical disabilities.
IWA does NOT represent our Disabled Persons' Representative Organisation for physically impaired people & never has!
