What's the threshold for it to be acceptable to take advantage of others' lower intellect?
Like, we can all agree tricking someone handicapped with a 65 IQ is not cool, but how about all the 125s in marketing that trick the 80-120s a hundred times a day?
Aren't they Dirtbags too?
@wilsonhlthcoach If nutrition were a science it would classify all material into 2 groups: food & not food.
Adding food to not food does not make not food food.
Adding not food to food makes food not food.
@hoskins007@SamaHoole Tell me you don't live near a cattle farm, wait ... You just did.
Can confirm, it's grass. I'm surrounded by cattle farms, they smell... Of nothing because... Grass and not much else.
@SamaHoole Always assumed brisket had a good connective tissue content. And it's about the same per pound as burger but so fatty and tasty.
Thoughts on brisket?
@catatoniczombie@SamaHoole By that logic bears are better off in zoos because they get healthcare and protection from calamitous natural events.
Bears universally disagree with this conclusion.
@SamaHoole Eating based on appetite just makes sense. Since retiring I just eat when hungry and noticed that the quantity/frequency required to satisfy hunger is linked to my activity that particular day.
Every day it's directly linked to activity. Listening to natural cues seems obvious.
@morgansajer @BasedBiohacker 152 here. Dealing daily with average folk is definitely as frustrating as the average dealing with functionally handicapped.
It's not ability that increases so much as the method of processing the same information and the sheer volume of information that is processed at once.
@MadelaineLucyH Condolences on not making it out of high school before 18.
Perhaps the same factors at play then contribute to a lack of understanding now.
@ItIsHoeMath@nyaraVT In what world does the government not provide HUD, SNAP, clothing vouchers, etc?
Gov needs out of it all and watch all the prices fall ;)
@SamaHoole Would be interested in seeing a post with your take on "time" as it pertains to animal husbandry being adopted.
Seems that the overall time savings raising fenced "game" vs having to hunt/gather/graze all day must have contributed to opportunities for overall human progress.
