@BirdForUtah gets it! Looking forward to his leadership on these issues in the legislature next year. Our country can’t afford to wait. Permitting reform will unleash energy abundance and allow the US, and Utah, to lead long into the future.
It's tax day! Have you taken a look at your tax refund yet?
@RepBurgessOwens shares that families are seeing the difference this year and keeping more of what they earn thanks to the Working Family Tax Cuts.
While he will certainly be missed in public office, his time in Congress will have lasting impacts on Utah and the nation. On behalf of AFP Utah and the thousands of activists across our state, we thank @RepBurgessOwens for his dedicated service.

There is plenty happening on the emissions front and regulation reform at the executive level. But many companies are leary of investment because the next administration might undo it all again. Thats why I believe @BasedMikeLee s REINS Act needs to be the next major focus of Congress! @LeeMZeldin@MayorStaggs@realDonaldTrump keep doing what you are doing but we need more!

Reliable. Affordable. Grateful that Utah’s leaders are dedicated to making Utah an energy hub. AFP believes in an all of the above approach to energy development and Utah is leading the way.
Utahns want reliable power, built here.
Fervo Energy’s next-generation geothermal project in Beaver County is on track to deliver its first 100 megawatts this October, with a 500-megawatt buildout planned by 2028.
I’m grateful for the crews and partners doing the hard work to make this happen, and proud that Utah is leading America’s next chapter of energy security. 🇺🇸

Unpredictable federal permitting doesn’t just slow projects; it acts like a hidden tax on families, farmers, and small businesses. Streamlining the process means more reliable energy and fewer costs passed down to consumers.
NEW: HB 170 will expand public oversight of decisions made by local school boards.

As we celebrate 250 years of the great American experiment, Utah continues to lead by example, proving that responsible leadership, limited government and shared values deliver freedom and lasting prosperity. @GovCox address tonight showcased how Utah’s strength is built on its character. Laws alone cannot build strong communities; people do. Communities are strengthened when children are equipped to succeed, families can put down roots and the next generation is protected from forces that undermine their well-being.
“Reform zoning, streamline permitting, support infrastructure, and encourage innovation.” Housing is the top issue we talk to people at the doors about. @GovCox hit the nail on the head. Less government, not more. Let’s do this so the American Dream is attainable for all Utahns.
Thank you to @AFP_Utah for the invitation to attend the “American Dream. Locally.” conference. It was a morning full of great ideas with experts from @Libertas, @SutherlandInst, and @UtahTaxpayers talking about how we can make it easier for families to pursue the American Dream.
In Yuma today at the southern border with @CClemOfficial to see the dramatic changes in the last year. When existing laws are enforced and border security is made a priority the crisis ends. From 1200 illegal crossings at this location per day just a year ago to 5 today. Border security is essential to get right for national security, for our economy, and for our communities.
The House just passed the PERMIT Act with bipartisan support; a big win for American builders, energy producers, and families.
Modernizing permitting means lower costs, fewer delays, and a stronger future.
Proud to see the PERMIT Act pass the House, which includes my bill to bring long-overdue transparency and accountability to the EPA’s water quality rulemaking, a process that’s kept the very people whose water, land, and livelihoods are on the line in the dark.
Communities in UT-04 and across the country deserve a voice - and @HouseGOP is delivering.
