I’ve been listening to the New Yorker's podcast, In the Dark (season 3) which investigates the 2005 Haditha massacre in Iraq. This incident involved a unit of US marines who murdered 25 civilians. No one should be surprised that they got away with it but

Context: What a Jewish political movement did to Palestinians: ally with British imperialism to violently expel them, eradicate their villages, confiscate their property and more. What Jews did to Germans: made outstanding contributions to culture, science, industry, and politics
I think I finally got the solution to our pains. Afghanistan must split into two countries. I am sorry to dissappoint all those who prone unity... one country for the men, one for the women. I'll work on the path to creating new generations later...

The Pew surveys have some methodological issues, but this result seems credible. In 2014, we conducted a representative survey, and a similar large majority of afghans preferred to elect their gvt rather than any other option. So... hudood + elections???
I was just asked about the possible implementation of the hudood (sharia law) in #Afghanistan on #CBC. Here is my view on the issue 🧵:
1) I know the issue will be sensationalized but I don't think it ranks in the top ten concerns of Afghans. Here is a poll for you to look at 1/

Now that i think of it, I don't know how I had survived a couple of decades without these few essential words: kho... Tauba... noshi jan... khayr ast... and begheyrat...
