PVC 🏀 dribbling device for Ss who use wheelchairs & walkers. Prob my new fav build. Love the realistic motion of dribbling which is hard for many of my Ss, keeping the ball close, & the independence it gave them in moving. SO to my hubby for helping with this one! #AdaptedPE

🦸 It’s Movement Superhero Day!
As part of National Adapted Physical Education Week, we’re celebrating the movement superpowers of every student—rolling, running, balancing, throwing, using assistive technology, & cheering on a friend.
Because everyone belongs in PE.
#AdaptedPE
Talk with your students about their “movement superpowers.”
You might ask:
•What is something your body does really well?
•How do you like to move?
•What helps you participate in PE?
@Musser_APE Focus on ability, not the disability!
Be flexible with equipment, your student needs and your lesson plan!
Think outside the box!
Build relationships with your students!!
Ask questions and Collaborate, collaborate and collaborat some more!!
