@ecomwithbrook Hey Brook. When attempting to close suppliers, did you build your website first as a blog or w/ links to their products on their own websites or Amazon in order to have a website to show them or did you simply contact suppliers pre-website and let them know what you had in mind?
@JosephLaMagna On the point itself, I’d welcome clarification. However, i believe the open became part of tPGA tour in ‘95 & isn’t part of LIV tour to which the two players defected. That defection has reasonably resulted in limited promotion of them during events on the tour they abandoned.
@JosephLaMagna Point stands. Nothing wrong with debate. It’s the unnecessarily, aggressive and divisive manner in which individuals such as yourself engage in discussion that has lowered the public discourse. Plus, you know, it’s golf.
@flips4miles Hi - $15k gross sales or profit? If profit, shipping take 3 months total. To do 15k a month u need to buy and receive a huge amount of inventory - if you started small how were you able to by and receive $100ks of worth of inventory to clear $15k per month on a regular basis?
@heyitsalexP @Jessie_Webtopia @FCabasag Is that COG percentage landed to me or landed to the customer? If $10 landed to my warehouse - plus $10 shipping to customer, is my COG $10 or $20?
@awilkinson Love your post. Love that you lay out ur situation, warts & all. That represents a fundamental shift in how we all do business & moves away from previously felt/hidden shame related to changing biz/financial/personal circumstances. There shouldn’t be any & this post shows that.
@superalicom Very true. I’m probably leaning drop shipping. The flip side of that though is that you then put yourself in the customer service stream versus affiliate, which is smaller profits/0 customer service effort/time.
#ecommerce question-I own an exact keyword search .com url in luxury decor w/ 187,000 monthly searches. Haven’t used it. Should I do a dropshipping site or site w/ Amazon affiliate links or other? Lucky to have this URL & searching for most profitable use. Suggestions? #ecom
@TaylorLagace per transaction and you pay a micro influencer $50 for their sponsored post, you’ll need to 8 sales to break even. That means you need 266 website visits at 3% conversion rate to break even. That just doesn’t happen at low follower numbers.
