Seeking an end to the addition of fluoridation chemicals (H2SiF6)containing many toxic contaminants to the DRINKING WATER of West Cumbria (Allerdale & Copeland)
Bloody customers, what’s all that about, expecting to turn their taps on and have clean drinking water come out of it, the entitlement of it all, the righteous of it.
I’ll tell you I’m not having it, I’m just not having it.
Signed
CEO South East Water.
“Louise Beardmore pocketed £2.5million, up 79 per cent on the previous year, and including a bonus of £830,000.”
Worth every penny I’m sure.

She argued that it is deeply insulting to Maori to claim, as the report she critiques does, that science is not for them. It was a struggle to get it published but she managed it.
Then the journal retracted it. How utterly contemptible.

Fluoridation chemical, fluorosilicic acid is a concern to some water dep't employees.
Menahga public works director Ron Yliniemi expressed a concern he has specifically with fluorosilicic acid, which is a liquid chemical compound used by municipal water systems to add fluoride to tap water, and is meant to break down in the water to release the free fluoride ions.
“It’s an acid – it eats away at a screwdriver if you drop it in pure fluorosilicic acid,” Yliniemi said. “I just don’t see that it’s a good thing. It is not raw fluoride. We already have raw fluoride that comes into the plant.”
Yliniemi also said individuals with concerns about water fluoridation or fluorosilicic acid need to do more than post about it online. Specifically, they should reach out to their congressional representatives.
“To try and pass anything (to change fluoridation), it has to go to our legislators,” Yliniemi said. “If the public wanted to reach out to legislators, be in their ear and let this be known more, they might look into this better and let us eliminate this from our city water.” https://t.co/CAoJcWNnBG @TapWaterWatch@TPOmag@MSWmagazine@smartwatermag@watermagtweets@WaterTechOnline@wcponline @H20GlobalNews @MuniWaterLeader@MSWmagazine
Fluoride Free New Zealand (FFNZ) is undertaking a membership drive. This is in response to a change to the Societies Act 2022 that requires incorporated societies to maintain a list of at least 10 members.
Up until this change, FFFNZ only kept a list of subscribers to its newsletter. We are now asking everyone who supports a fluoridation free New Zealand, to fill in this membership form and make a financial commitment of $5 per year.
Having hundreds of paid members shows decision makers around the country that there is strong opposition to fluoridation.

For those asking after Friday’s announcement… yes, we are still striking every Monday.
This week was week 136. We won’t stop until spades hit the ground.
"How could Thames Water be nationalised?"
Turns out a lot easier than you think and a lot easier than govt might haver you believe.

UPDATE - "City officials will schedule a public hearing as they consider removing fluoride from the city’s drinking water.
Following a unanimous vote, aldermen directed Alan Hart, director of the Public Works Department, to announce a 30-day comment period and to schedule a public hearing.
This second step comes after representatives of the Mississippi State Department of Health gave aldermen a presentation regarding treatment during their June 16 meeting. McGee stressed that the presentation, though open to the public, was not a public hearing and was the first step in the state-required fact-finding process.
Smith said he was concerned with the implications of the city mandating a “medication for everyone.”
That sentiment was echoed by Ward 2 Alderman Chuck Gautier, who said he does not feel qualified to make medical decisions for the residents of Ridgeland.
“I am not qualified to dispense medicine as an alderman,” Gautier said.
McGee said the city is still having trouble procuring the chemical, and part of this fact-finding mission is assessing the cost of resuming administration of the chemical as it becomes available."

"Thames Water moves step closer to nationalisation after government objects to rescue deal."
Based on Ofwat's past performance and record for decision making who can blame govt for being rattled by the whole thing.
That said govt could and should end the misery for Thames Water's customers today, and all with nothing more than the stroke of a pen. It should be nationalised, today, this morning, this very minute, right now.
