π€ΌββοΈ MATCH REVIEW THREAD π€ΌββοΈ
This thread is going to be a constantly updated thread of matches that I watch and review! If you don't know about me, I'm 16 from Canada and I'm doing deep dives into the wider world of wrestling besides what I've watched growing up. (Intro 1/2)
@EarvGotti242 Fonts one of my faves too for sure. I've played since UFC 4 and this is the first game where I feel like playing behind my jab like Font does actually affects the fight. I wish you could open up cuts easier on the face with jabs, feels like it takes a while.
@KyleMackProd I fully believe that is the Lawler/MacDonald 2 of the modern era, all the way down to the similar finish due to damage. I have full body chills right now.
@uhvaimorre He actually didn't even make an adjustment, Garcia just gave him that fight for free. Forced a dumb exchange when Lopes literally couldn't create any of his own.
@TypewritingDA Insane how Garcia basically gave him that fight. That kinda just fell into Lopes' hands. He still showed the same problems against southpaws.
@winterweather That was a fucking generational KO Brothers performance and Gedo said yeah fuck these guys. Genuinely best tag team in the world and we're losing to the Great O-Khan
@TypewritingDA True, it's sort of a lost art these days. Yan is really good at punishing off the break. He's probably over the hill but Leon is a good shout too.
If I could repost something 1000 times this would be the tweet. Genuinely almost everybody moves and acts the same and a lot of these people move the same in minute 15 are they were on minute 1. This isn't a focused critique on any wrestler but it's definitely prevalent today.
you watch stuff like this and you realize how little thought most wrestlers put into what they do. They know one rigid way of doing things and are incapable of deviation for it

@VampiricLegz Cory is my favorite modern fighter and it's a shame just how much he lost his viciousness. It sounds dumb but he just point fights now and even though it's really slick technical shit, I wanna see him press on the gas a little bit more. Mario Bautista is a good example of this.
