The characters were changed too drastically for my liking; in the novel, Isla comes across as more mature and doesn't display as much emotion as she does in the manhwa. It’s laughable,why did they make her look so pathetic? Her clothes are even worse than the servants' outfits. It was funny to read how the novel describes Isla’s luxurious gowns and her expressionless face,which made Talia tremble with fear because her emotions were impossible to read. Yet in the manhwa, Isla shows more emotion than Talia, who lived a nightmare. Are you kidding me?
And what happened to the beauty of Isla,and Talia,that the novel describes? I won't even get started on Varkas; it’s a matter of appearance. He looks like a character straight out of the 21st century. Thanks, but no thanks.

I hope I never come back to this fandom, lol; the heroine exists solely to suffer, and everyone around her is annoying. I don't even see the logic in many characters' actions,especially, why create an empress with good connections and the ability to see the future, only for that idiot to die and leave her children in the care of another child? What? Where are the Empress's loyal servants? The guards, the butler, the maid, the relatives, the barons, or the dukes on Empress Bernadette's side? It’s sooooo stupid. It’s beyond saving now. And how did her ability to see the future actually help?! There are no answers, folks.
