I had crucial discussions on the IPP crisis with key stakeholders and was informed that progress is underway. This energy crisis affects every aspect of life, and it's far more than a policy issue—it's a matter of national security. The government must act decisively to ensure the public has access to affordable, reliable power, reduce the crushing circular debt, and deliver genuine, long-term relief. Transparent and ruthless accountability is needed. IPPs agreements has crippled our economy and burdened the masses while a few profited. This cannot continue. Power sector must be considered as National Security and be dealt with absolute transparency.
